READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING THE PRO MULTI-FLOORING CUTTERS. 2. If you are not thoroughly familiar with the operation of Precision CutsTM Pro Multi-Floor Cutter, obtain advice from a qualified instructor. 3. Stay alert. Do not operate while under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. 4. Always wear safety approved eye protection with side shields (ANSI Z87.1) 5. Keep work area free of debris. 6. Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the Precision CutsTM Pro Multi-Floor Cutter and work area. 7. Make sure tool is secure. Operate only on a firm substrate or solid stand. 8. Use the right tool. Do not force the Precision CutsTM Pro Multi-Floor Cutter or use it for a job which it is not designed for; use only on approved materials. 9. Keep the blade sharp. A dull blade will not perform properly. 10. Always keep hands away from blade while operating or carrying the cutter. 11. Do not alter or misuse this tool. The Precision CutsTM Pro Multi-Floor Cutter is precision built; modifications not specified in this manual may result in a dangerous and unsafe environment. 12. Maintain the Precision CutsTM Pro Multi-Floor Cutter with care. Keep Blade sharp and clean. Follow instructions for changing accessories. 13. Use only recommended accessories. The use of improper accessories may be hazardous and cause injuries. 14. Never leave Precision CutsTM Pro Multi-Floor Cutter to be unattended Secure the handle with the locking device when not in use. 2 SET UP Installation Install the table to the cutter base with provided bolts and nuts as shown. Then insert the handle into the handle base as show and tighten provided screw. Warning: Do not put your fingers against the sharp edge of the blade at any time. CUTTING 45° Cut Adjust the angle attachment to 45°. Insert material between the cutting blade and the base, against the angle attachment as shown, then press the handle down to complete a cut. Warning: Maintain control of the handle. Do not allow handle to slam back after making a cut. 3 MAINTENANCE Changing the Blade Use the provided Allen wrench to remove the five screws, then hold the blade by each end and carefully move the blade out of blade holder. Note: the flat side of the blade should face the working table when install a new blade. Warning: Do not put your fingers against the sharp edge of the blade at any time. Changing the Nylon Bar Use the provided Allen wrench to remove the five screws, then hold the nylon bar and carefully move it out of nylon bar holder. Warning: Do not put your fingers against the sharp edge of the blade at any time. Transport Lock the handle in the down position by sliding the locking pin on the eccentric cam as shown. Ne forcez pas l'outil de coupe pour planchers Precision CutsTM Pro et ne l'utilisez pas pour effectuer une tâche pour laquelle il n'a pas été conçu; utilisez l'outil seulement sur les matériaux approuvés. 9. Gardez la lame affûtée. Une lame émoussée ne fonctionnera pas bien. 10. Gardez toujours les mains loin de la lame pendant le fonctionnement ou lorsque vous transportez l'outil de coupe. 11. Ne laissez jamais l'outil de coupe pour planchers Precision CutsTM Pro sans surveillance. Bloquez la poignée avec le dispositif de verrouillage lorsque vous n'utilisez pas l'outil. 9 MONTAGE Montage : Installez table de travail la base de coupe avec les boulons et écrous fournis, comme indiqué. Insérez ensuite la poignée dans la base de la poignée comme indiqué et serrez la vis fournie. Avertissement : En tout temps, évitez de mettre vos doigts sur le rebord tranchant de la lame. COUPES Coupe à 45° Réglez l'accessoire en angle à 45°. Insérez le matériau entre la lame de coupe et la base, contre l'accessoire en angle, comme sur l'illustration, puis poussez la poignée vers le bas pour effectuer une coupe. Avertissement : Gardez le contrôle de la poignée. Ne laissez pas la poignée remonter en claquant après avoir effectué une coupe. 10 ENTRETIEN Remplacement de la lame Utilisez la clé Allen fournie pour retirer les cinq vis, puis tenez la lame par chaque extrémité et sortez-la soigneusement du support à lame. Remarque : Le côté plat de la lame devrait être face à la table. Avertissement : En tout temps, évitez de mettre vos doigts sur le rebord tranchant de la lame. Remplacement de la barre en nylon Utilisez la clé Allen fournie pour retirer les cinq vis, puis tenez la barre en nylon et sortez-la soigneusement du support pour barre en nylon. Avertissement : En tout temps, évitez de mettre vos doigts sur le rebord tranchant de la lame. Trasport Verrouillez la poignée en position basse en faisant glisser la goupille de verrouillage sur la came excentrique comme illustré.
