Mitsubishi Connect: Safeguard and Remote Services Quick Guide
Model: DESTINATOR
What is Mitsubishi Connect?
Mitsubishi Connect is a service that provides safety, security, and a comfortable driving experience for vehicle owners. It is a subscription-based service consisting of the following components:
- An embedded Telematics Control Unit with a 4G LTE cellular modem and GPS capabilities, operating on cellular and GPS networks within the vehicle.
- Two in-vehicle buttons connected to a call center. One is the SOS/Emergency Call button for emergencies. The other is the Information Assistance/Roadside Assistance button for breakdowns or account service needs.
- The My Mitsubishi Connect mobile application, available for download on compatible Apple or Android smartphone app stores.
This service utilizes wireless communication networks and the Global Positioning System (“GPS”) satellite network. Mitsubishi Connect service availability depends on cellular and GPS network coverage and may not function in remote or covered areas. The areas you travel through can affect the services we can provide, including but not limited to route and GPS services such as our ability to determine your vehicle's exact location.
Mitsubishi Connect Safeguard can serve vehicle owners 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in case of an accident or need for roadside assistance. Mitsubishi Connect Remote service provides remote control functions, such as Remote Start, to vehicle owners via smartphone.
