TurboCell® S3
(New Menu Setting May Be Required)
TurboCell S3 chlorinator cells can be used to replace older TurboCell models but changes to the chlorinator may be required. Refer to the table below to cross reference TurboCell S3 models to older models. Use this cross referenced model when configuring the chlorinator. If your chlorinator does not offer the cross referenced selection, do not use the TurboCell S3. Incorrect configuration will cause inaccurate salt readings, improper operation, and possible system shutdown.

For AQR: 1. Slide the Main Switch to the "Auto" position. 2. Push the Diagnostic button repeatedly until "t-xx" appears on the display ("t-15" is the factory default). 3. To change cell type, slide the Main Switch from "Auto" to "Super Chlorinate" and back to "Auto". 4. Push the Diagnostic button to exit.
For AQR-PRO: 1. Access the Settings Menu by pushing the "Settings" button. 2. Push ">" until Chlor. Config is displayed, then push "+". 3. Push ">" repeatedly until "Cell Type" is displayed. 4. Push "+" or "-" until desired model is displayed. 5. Exit Settings Menu by pushing the "Info" button.
USE ONLY HAYWARD GENUINE REPLACEMENT PARTS
For AQ-LOGIC-P-4, AQ-LOGIC-PS-x, PL-P-4 or PL-PS-x: 1. Enter the Configuration Menu. 2. Push ">" until Chlor. Config is displayed, then push "+". 3. With the Chlorinator Enabled, push ">" repeatedly until "Cell Type" is displayed. 4. Push "+" or "-" until desired model is displayed. 5. Exit Settings Menu by pushing the "Menu" button.
For OmniLogic, OmniPL or S3 Omni 1. Enter the Configuration Wizard or Quick Edit. 2. Advance to "Sense and Dispense". 3. Advance to "Type of Chlorinator". 4. Select your desired model. 5. Exit Configuration Wizard or Quick Edit.
For AQRS340, AQRS325 or AQRS315 1. From the Home Menu, select "System settings" 2. Select "Service settings" 3. Select "System config" 4. Select "Cell type" and choose your desired model 5. Exit to save your selection.

Regarding Extended Pool Filtration cycles and Low Flow Rate conditions
THE AMOUNT OF CHLORINE PRODUCED BY YOUR HAYWARD SALT CHLORINE GENERATING SYSTEM IS DEPENDENT ON THE LENGTH OF TIME THAT YOUR FILTER PUMP RUNS EVERY DAY. SO, YOUR CHLORINATION SETTING SHOULD BE MATCHED TO THE FILTER PUMP RUN TIME OF YOUR POOL. If you plan to INCREASE or DECREASE the filter pump cycle on your pool, be sure to adjust the chlorination setting on your chlorinator to compensate for the change in total chlorine production. By properly adjusting your setting, you are preventing the over-chlorination or under-chlorination of your pool. For example, If you plan on doubling the filter pump operating time (say from 8 hours/day to 16 hours/day), then reduce your chlorination setting by a factor of 2 (say from 50% to 25%). If you plan to triple your filter pump operating time, then reduce your chlorination setting by a factor of 3. Likewise, if you reduce your filter pump operating time (say from 12 hours/day to 8 hours/day), then increase your chlorination setting by a factor of 1.5 (i.e. 12/8=1.5) These adjustments, while necessary and important, are APPROXIMATIONS to the actual adjustment your pool requires. After any chlorination adjustment, monitor the pool's chlorine level closely for 1-2 weeks. If the readings stabilize in the 1-3 ppm range then you are all set, otherwise make another small adjustment (up or down) to increase or decrease the chlorine level. Once the chlorinator is set, it is good practice to check your chlorine levels weekly to ensure operation is normal. When using 2-speed or variable speed pumps on low speed, check to be sure your salt cell is receiving adequate flow. Low flow conditions can result in insufficient water in the cell causing inefficient chlorine production. As a precaution, the cell can be installed vertically to keep it flooded with water. These are the desired installation configurations when using 2-speed or variable speed pumps.

Connexion à un AQR : 1. Faites glisser l'interrupteur principal à la position « Auto ». 2. Avancez jusqu'à « Type de chlorateur ». 4. Sélectionnez votre modèle souhaité. 5. Quittez l'assistant de configuration ou l'éditeur rapide.
Connexion à un AQRS340, AQRS325 ou AQRS315 : 1. Dans le menu d'accueil, sélectionnez « Réglages du système » 2. Sélectionnez « Réglages de service » 3. Sélectionnez « Configuration du système » 4. Sélectionnez « Type de cellule » et choisissez votre modèle souhaité 5. Quittez pour enregistrer votre sélection.

Concernant les cycles de filtration de piscine prolongés et les conditions de faible débit
LA QUANTITÉ DE CHLORE PRODUITE PAR VOTRE SYSTÈME GÉNÉRATEUR DE CHLORE AU SEL HAYWARD DÉPEND DE LA DURÉE DE FONCTIONNEMENT QUOTIDIENNE DE VOTRE POMPE FILTRANTE. AINSI, VOTRE RÉGLAGE DE CHLORATION DOIT CORRESPONDRE À LA DURÉE DE FONCTIONNEMENT DE LA POMPE DE FILTRATION DE VOTRE PISCINE.
Si vous prévoyez AUGMENTER ou DIMINUER le cycle de la pompe de filtration de votre piscine, assurez-vous d'ajuster le réglage de chloration de votre chlorateur pour compenser le changement de la production totale de chlore. En ajustant correctement votre réglage, vous empêchez le surdosage ou sous-dosage de chlore dans votre piscine.
Par exemple, si vous prévoyez de doubler la durée de fonctionnement de la pompe de filtration (disons de 8 heures/jour à 16 heures/jour), réduisez votre réglage de chloration d'un facteur 2 (disons de 50 % à 25 %). Si vous prévoyez de tripler la durée de fonctionnement de votre pompe de filtration, réduisez votre réglage de chloration d'un facteur 3. De même, si vous réduisez la durée de fonctionnement de votre pompe de filtration (disons de 12 heures/jour à 8 heures/jour), augmentez votre réglage de chloration par un facteur de 1,5 (c'est-à-dire 12/8 = 1,5)
Ces ajustements, bien qu'ils soient nécessaires et importants, sont des APPROXIMATIONS de l'ajustement réel dont votre piscine a besoin. Après tout ajustement de chloration, surveillez de près le niveau de chlore dans la piscine pendant 1 à 2 semaines. Si les valeurs se stabilisent dans la plage de 1 à 3 ppm, alors tout en ordre, sinon effectuez un autre petit ajustement (vers le haut ou vers le bas) pour augmenter ou diminuer le niveau de chlore. Une fois le chlorateur réglé, il est recommandé de vérifier vos niveaux de chlore chaque semaine pour vous assurer que le fonctionnement est normal.
Lorsque vous utilisez des pompes à 2 vi-
tesses ou à vitesse variable à basse vitesse,
assurez-vous que votre cellule de sel reçoit
un débit adéquat. Des conditions de faible
débit peuvent entraîner une quantité insuffisante d'eau dans la cellule, ce qui cause une

de précaution, la cellule peut être installée
