General Warnings

  • Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
  • Never block the air openings of the product or place it on a surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint and hair.
  • Never use while sleeping.
  • Never drop or insert objects into any opening.
  • Do not operate where aerosol products are being used or administered.
  • Do not use on or near eyes or other highly sensitive areas.
  • Do not operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
  • Do not carry this product by its supply, or power cord, or use the cord as a handle.
  • Do not use directly on one concentrated area of the body. It is meant to be used in a continuous motion, constantly changing the massage area.
  • To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position then remove the plug from the outlet.
  • Do not perform any servicing on the product.
  • Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury:

  • Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
  • Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
  • Do not place or store product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub, sink, or other body of water.
  • Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
  • Do not reach for an electrical appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.

In the Box

The package for the SMG3001 Massage Chair includes:

  • SMG3001 Foldable Shiatsu Massage Chair (described as a foldable chair with armrests and a headrest designed for massage).
  • 12V 4A Power Adapter and Cord (a rectangular adapter with a cord for wall outlet connection and a jack for the chair).

Location of Controls

Massage Chair Components:

  • Control Panel: Located on the right armrest.
  • Lock Pin: Used for securing the chair's position.
  • Power Cable Jack: Port for connecting the power adapter.
  • Neck Massager Node: Located in the headrest area.
  • Back Massager Node: Located in the backrest area.
  • Seat Massager Node: Located in the seat cushion.

Control Panel Functions:

The control panel is a rectangular remote with the following buttons:

  1. Neck Massage Adjustment: Buttons with up/down arrows (↑ / ↓) to adjust the intensity of the neck massager nodes.
  2. Neck Massage Mode: Buttons to switch between manual (represented by an icon of a hand with circular motion arrows) and automatic (represented by an icon of a hand with circular motion and a smaller circular arrow) massage modes.
  3. Back Massage Mode: Buttons to cycle through massage modes for the back: FULL, UPPER, or LOWER.
  4. Vibration: Buttons to cycle through 3 seat massage intensities (Low, Medium, High indicated by L, M, H).
  5. Target: Button to select a specific target area for massage.
  6. Target Adjustment: Buttons with arrow icons (← / →) to adjust the targeted massage area.
  7. Heat: Button to adjust the heat level.
  8. Power: Button (⏻) to turn the massage chair ON/OFF.

Setting Up the Massage Chair

Setup:

Remove the massage chair from its packaging and fully unfold it, standing it upright. Ensure there is adequate space for unfolding and that the chair is located near a wall outlet.

Connect the pin of the supplied 12V power adapter into the Power Jack Cable on the massager.

Plug the power cable into the power adapter and plug the other end into a wall outlet. (Diagram shows a power adapter connecting to the chair and then to a wall outlet with a lightning bolt icon ⚡).

Using the Massage Chair

Note: When using the massage chair, always sit fully upright. Do not slouch, slide forward, sit on the edge, or tip the chair forward or backward.

The control panel on the right armrest allows you to power the chair ON/OFF, set massage modes, intensity, and activate heat.

Powering ON/OFF:

  • Press the Power button (⏻) on the control panel to turn the massage chair ON/OFF.
  • If not in use, the chair will automatically power off after 15 minutes.

Adjusting Heat:

  • Press the Heat button to adjust the heat function.

Adjusting Vibration:

  • Press the Vibration button on the control panel to cycle through the 3 seat massage intensities.

Neck Massage:

  • Press the Neck Massage Adjustment (↑ / ↓) and Mode buttons to adjust the intensity and area of the neck massager nodes and to switch between manual (left button icon) and automatic (right button icon) massage.

Back Massage:

  • Press the Back Massage buttons to adjust the different areas of the back to be massaged (FULL, UPPER, LOWER).
  • Press the Target button to massage a specific area on the back and use the arrow buttons (← / →) to adjust the targeted massage area.

Storing the Massager

The massager should be stored in a dry, cool location, away from sources of water or heat. It is best stored in a secure box or an airtight bag to keep it free of dust.

Cleaning the Massager

To clean the massager, unplug it and let the pad cool down if the heating function was just used.

Wipe the pad down with a soft, slightly damp sponge. Avoid using concentrated soaps, such as dish soap, as it will be very difficult to clean from the pads once applied.

  • Do NOT allow any liquid or cleaning solutions to come into direct contact with the massager.
  • Do NOT immerse massager in water.
  • Do NOT use any abrasive cleaners or chemicals on the pad.
  • Do NOT attempt to repair any damage to the massager.

Additional Safety Warnings

  • Consult your doctor before using this product.
  • Individuals with pacemakers should not use this item.
  • Never leave the product operating or unattended, especially if children are present.
  • Never use the product on open skin eruptions, swollen, or inflamed areas.
  • Do not operate after taking painkillers, sedatives, or alcohol. Consult your doctor if you are under these medications.
  • Do not continuously operate for 15 minutes or longer. It is recommended to turn the product off and allow it to rest (cool) for 30 minutes before re-using. This will prolong the life of the product.
  • The product is designed as a non-professional massager to soothe tired and aching muscles. It is not intended to be a substitute for medical attention. If your ailments and symptoms persist or worsen after use, contact your doctor immediately.

WARNING: Any individual who is pregnant, has a pacemaker, suffers from diabetes, phlebitis, and/or thrombosis, or is at an increased risk of developing blood clots due to recent surgery, should consult their physician before using a massaging device designed for home use.

Rain/Moisture Warning:

  • Do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures (heat or cold), open flames, humid conditions, or wet conditions.
  • Do not submerge in water.
  • Do not open this product or attempt to repair the unit yourself should it not be working.

Limited Warranty

90 Days Limited Warranty

In the unlikely event that this product is defective, or does not perform properly, you may within ninety (90) days from your original date of purchase return it to the authorized service center for repair or exchange.

TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:

  • Call the Customer Support number located below, or go to our website portal to receive an SRO number.
  • Provide proof of the date of purchase within the package (dated bill of sale).
  • Prepay all shipping costs to the authorized service center, and remember to insure your return.
  • Include a return shipping address (no P.O. Boxes), a telephone contact number, and the defective unit within the package.
  • Describe the defect or reason you are returning the product.

Your product will be repaired or replaced, at our option, for the same or similar model of equal value if examination by the service center determines this product is defective. Products received damaged as a result of shipping will require you to file a claim with the carrier.

Warranty Service Not Provided

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, and unauthorized modification. This warranty is voided in the event any unauthorized person opens, alters or repairs this product. All products being returned to the authorized service center for repair must be suitably packaged.

Limitation of Warranty
