Safety Features

Tilt Switch

Overheat Protection

The heater is fitted with a temperature limiter which will turn OFF the heater should it overheat for any reason. The product will return to normal operation after the cause of the overheating has been rectified.

Operation

IMPORTANT - OBJECTS OR CLOTHING MUST NOT BE PLACED ON THIS HEATER.

Before using the heater ensure that all warnings and instructions have been read carefully. To begin using the heater simply plug it in to a corresponding power outlet.

  1. Turn on the main power switch at the back of the unit to the 'I' [ON symbol] position. The unit will beep once to indicate it is powered and in standby mode. The LED display will illuminate and indicate the current room temperature.
  2. Press the On/Off button to turn the unit ON.
  3. Press the POWER button once to operate in low power (1200W) or twice to operate in high power (2000W). The corresponding low and high power indicator light will illuminate on the control panel.
  4. A TIMER can be set up to 12 hours, so the unit turns OFF automatically after a set period. Press the TIMER button and cycle through, in 1 hour increments, the desired time. The set time will flash on the LED Display. To cancel the TIMER, cycle through until '0' shows on the display.
  5. To adjust the room temperature, set the desired temperature between 10-35°C. The temperature is set in 1°C increments and will flash on the LED display until selected. The unit will automatically work to reach and maintain the set temperature.
  6. The unit is equipped with an oscillating base. To activate, press the OSCILLATION button. Press again to cancel.
  7. Press the power On/Off button to turn the unit OFF. It takes approx. 30 seconds for the unit to power OFF, this is to protect the heating element.

The remote control performs the same settings as the control panel on the unit. Simply follow the same operation instructions mentioned previously.

The remote requires 1 x CR2025 3v lithium battery.

  1. Open the battery compartment (see Fig. 1).
  2. Insert the battery into the remote control compartment.

[Diagram description: Figure 1 shows the battery compartment of the remote control. It indicates the CR2025 battery, the positive (+) terminal, and the direction for opening (PUSH).]

Over time, dust can accumulate on the heater which can affect performance. It is recommended to clean the unit at least once a month.

  1. Turn the unit OFF and disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
  2. Remove any dust build up with a soft brush.
  3. Wipe the surface of the unit with a soft damp cloth. Mild detergent can be used for any stubborn marks.
