Zyxel EE-5301 Device Bridging Configuration
This guide provides step-by-step instructions to configure the Zyxel EE-5301 router for bridging mode. This process allows the device to function primarily as a modem, passing internet traffic directly to another router.
1.
Access Device Management
Log in to the device management interface by navigating to https://192.168.1.1. The necessary login credentials (username and password) can typically be found on a sticker attached to the device itself.

Open the Main Menu
Once logged in, locate and select the main menu option. This is usually represented by an icon consisting of three horizontal lines, typically found in the top right corner of the interface.

Navigate to Network Settings
From the main menu, select Network Setting, and then choose Broadband.

Configure WAN Interface
Select the WAN interface that matches your connection technology (e.g., ETHWAN for Ethernet or Fiber) and click the Modify button associated with it.

Set Mode to Bridge and Apply
In the WAN interface editing window, find the Mode setting and change it to Bridge. After making this change, click the Apply button located at the bottom of the page to save your configuration.
