- Do not use this product near water (e.g., bathtub, sink, swimming pool, wet basement, etc.).
- Only use a dry cloth to clean this product.
- Do not block any ventilation openings. Do not place flat against a wall or in a built-in enclosure that impedes cooling air flow.
- Do not install near heat sources like radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of polarized or grounding-type plugs. A polarized plug has one blade wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. If the provided plug does not fit your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, especially at plugs, receptacles, and where they exit the apparatus. Do not break the ground pin of the power supply cord.
- Only use attachments specified by the manufacturer.
- Use only the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer or sold with the apparatus. Use caution when moving a cart/apparatus combination to avoid tip-over injuries.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
- Take care that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the unit through ventilation ports or other openings.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required if the apparatus is damaged in any way (e.g., power cord/plug damaged, liquid spilled, objects fallen into apparatus, exposed to rain/moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped).
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.

System Configurations
The versatile CARPO-S1 system operates in different modes. Use the examples below to identify the best mode for your applications.
Tilt-Back (On floor)
For performances where the audience is close, tilt the CARPO-S1 onto its back edge. For best results, the performer should stand or sit to one side of the cabinet to avoid blocking sound from the audience.
Monitor (On floor)
To use the CARPO-S1 as a professional floor monitor, place it on the ground horizontally, in front of and pointing toward the performer. Tilt the cabinet onto its side edge.
Stand (On speaker stand, table, etc.)
Place the CARPO-S1 on a speaker stand, table, or other elevated surface for general-purpose sound reinforcement.
Operations
MP3 Player Controls
- MODE: Long press to turn on/off the MP3 module; short press to switch between USB/SD/Bluetooth mode.
- [PLAY/PAUSE]: Play/Pause function.
- [REPEAT]: Repeat function.
- [PREVIOUS SONG]: Previous song.
- [NEXT SONG]: Next song.
- [BT PAIR]: TWS Bluetooth pairing function to pair with another speaker.
Inputs and Controls
- Input Type Switch: Switch between Mic or Line input (for the combo connector).
- MIC/LINE IN: XLR & 1/4" jack combo input.
- ECHO: Controls echo depth for the Mic signal input.
- VOLUME (MIC/LINE): Volume control for Mic/Line input signal.
- MIX OUT: 1/4" jack output to link mixed signal to another amplifier or powered speaker.
- AUX IN: 1/8" Aux input.
- VOLUME (AUX/MP3): Volume control for Aux/Mp3 input signal.
- TREBLE: Controls treble frequency boost/cut. Center position is flat (no effect).
- BASS: Controls bass frequency boost/cut. Center position is flat (no effect).
- BATTERY LEVEL: Indicator for battery status (e.g., 100%, 75%, 50%, LOW, CHARGE).
- POWER: Power switch to turn the unit on/off.
- IEC INPUT: Connect the included IEC power cable here (Supports 100V~240V).
Bluetooth Instructions
Single Speaker Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the speaker's power. Ensure the 'AUX/MP3' button for channel 3 is selected to MP3 mode.
- Press the 'MODE' button on the MP3 panel to activate Bluetooth function. The screen will display 'bt'. The speaker becomes discoverable as 'SOUNDTOWN'.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device, enable 'discover' mode for available devices.
- From the Bluetooth device list, select 'SOUNDTOWN'.
- The speaker is now paired with your Bluetooth device.
Two Speakers Bluetooth Pairing (TWS Linking)
The system supports 'True Wireless Stereo' (TWS) linking, allowing you to connect two speakers via Bluetooth.
- Turn on the first speaker (Master). Ensure the 'AUX/MP3' button for channel 3 is selected to MP3 mode.
- Press the 'MODE' button to switch to Bluetooth function (screen message 'bt').
- Turn on the second speaker (Slave). Ensure the 'AUX/MP3' button for channel 3 is selected to MP3 mode.
- Press the 'MODE' button on the slave speaker to switch to Bluetooth function (screen message 'bt').
- Press the 'BT PAIR' button on the master speaker. Both speakers' screen messages will change to 'bt:bt', and you will hear a prompt tone, indicating they are paired.
- Connect your Bluetooth audio device to the master speaker to enjoy 'TRUE WIRELESS STEREO' sound.
- Note: The two speakers are identical; either can serve as the master or slave.
Battery Recharge
The speaker features an internal rechargeable battery capable of up to 6 hours of continuous audio on a full charge. It is recommended to fully charge the speaker before initial use, even if it has some charge upon unboxing.
To charge the battery:
- Connect the speaker to a power outlet using the included power adapter.
- Keep the system plugged in until the battery indicator shows 100%, signifying a full charge.
The speaker uses a sealed lithium battery. When not in use, the battery will self-discharge slowly. For extended periods of non-use, fully charge the unit before storing. It is also advisable to charge the unit every six months to maintain battery health and lifespan. If the battery is left in a low charge state for an extended time, it may still be rechargeable, but the charging process could take over 6 hours.
