  • Users are responsible for their model and any damages caused by its operation.
  • Never operate a model under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Ensure the model cannot injure anyone, even considering potential malfunctions or defects.
  • Operate the model strictly according to the instructions and only when fully assembled.
  • Repairs or modifications should only be performed using original Revell Control spare parts to avoid damage or hazards.

Information for Adult Supervisors

Adult supervisors should verify that the model is assembled correctly according to the instructions. Assembly should always be carried out under adult supervision.

Regularly inspect transformers, power supplies, batteries, chargers, the model itself, and the remote control for any damage to connectors, cables, housing, or other parts. Any defects must be repaired before further use.

Turn off the remote control and model when not in use. Remove batteries from the remote control and model when they are not in use or are discharged. Protect the model, battery, and batteries from direct sunlight and heat.

Clean the model only with a clean, damp cloth. Always follow manufacturer instructions and reserve the right to make technical and color changes.

Tools provided with the product are not toys and are intended for adult use only.

Specific Model Type Safety

Aeromodelism (e.g., Drones, Aircraft)

This type of model is intended for domestic use and outdoor flight in calm weather conditions (house and garden). Flying requires skill; children must be instructed under direct adult supervision.

  • Keep hands, face, hair, and loose clothing away from rotors. Do not touch rotating rotors.
  • [warning-symbol] Risk of eye injury: Do not use near the face to avoid eye injury.
  • Do not take off or fly if people, animals, power lines, or other obstacles are present in the flight path.
  • Be aware of general air traffic. Never fly without direct visual contact; the model must always be within line of sight.
  • It is illegal to control a model using only a video image.
  • Always be mindful of wind, weather conditions, and potential obstacles. Avoid aircraft and land immediately if necessary.
  • European Regulations: Drones are prohibited from flying above 120 meters and over sensitive areas (e.g., residential properties, police/emergency services, military objects, hospitals, power plants, prisons, airport approach/departure zones, within 1.5 km of airports, or gatherings of people).
  • Each pilot/operator is obligated to inform themselves about and comply with all relevant regulations and laws. Non-compliance may result in prosecution.
  • Check if your aircraft requires mandatory insurance in your country.

Models 8+ / 12+

This model is not suitable for children under 8 or 12 years of age, depending on the specific product.

Vehicle Models

This model is intended for domestic use and dry outdoor conditions (house and garden). Do not operate the model near people, animals, water bodies, or power lines. Adult supervision is required during operation.

  • Keep hands, face, hair, and loose clothing away from the model during operation.
  • Always keep the model under observation to ensure you do not lose control.
  • Negligent and inattentive operation can cause considerable damage.

Floating Models (e.g., Boats)

Floating models can only be used when fully assembled. Do not operate in salt water. Avoid use in running water, as the boat may drift away in case of a malfunction.

Battery and Charging Information

Remote Control Batteries: New alkaline manganese batteries are recommended for the remote control. Disposable batteries can be replaced with rechargeable batteries for environmental friendliness. Replace or recharge batteries when the remote control no longer functions reliably.

General Battery Usage:

  • Use only recommended or equivalent batteries.
  • Insert batteries with correct polarity (+ and -).
  • Do not short-circuit the terminals.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries or new and used batteries.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
  • Replaceable rechargeable batteries must be removed from the remote control and/or model before charging.
  • Do not remove permanently installed batteries yourself.
  • [warning-symbol] Risk of explosion. Rechargeable batteries must only be charged under adult supervision.

LiPo/Li-ion Battery Specifics:

  • The LiPo/Li-ion charger is specifically designed for the model's battery.
  • Transformers or power supply units are not toys. Use only with a designated toy transformer or power supply unit.
  • If cleaning with liquids, disconnect the toy from the transformer or power supply unit before cleaning.
  • Use the charger only for the model's battery; do not use it for other batteries.
  • Using any other charger can lead to permanent damage to the battery and surrounding parts, and may cause personal injury.
  • Never use a NiCd/NiMh charger for other battery types like LiPo or Li-ion.
  • Allow the battery and motors to cool for approximately 15-30 minutes after charging and after each use, otherwise, they may be damaged.
  • Always use a fireproof surface and environment for charging.
  • Do not leave the battery unattended during the charging process.
  • Keep LiPo/Li-ion batteries away from children's access.
  • Monitor for changes, such as battery swelling, before and during charging; if changes occur, do not charge further.
  • Never disassemble or modify battery contacts. Do not damage or puncture battery cells. [warning-symbol] Risk of explosion!
  • Never throw LiPo/Li-ion batteries into fire or store them in hot places.
  • When disposing of batteries, they must be discharged or their capacity depleted. Cover exposed terminals with adhesive tape to prevent short circuits.
  • Rechargeable batteries can only be charged under adult supervision.
  • [attention-symbol] Recharge the battery after each use to avoid damaging deep discharge. Recharge the battery every 3 months, even if the model is not used.

Items with Built-in Batteries: This toy contains batteries that cannot be replaced.

Charger Safety: This charger is not suitable for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible adult. Children should be supervised; the charger is not a toy.

Virtual Reality (VR) Glasses Information

Do not use VR glasses if you are tired or have not slept sufficiently. Take a 15-30 minute break after each use.

If you experience nausea, fatigue, headache, or dizziness during use, stop using the VR glasses immediately until symptoms subside. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.

A very small percentage of the population may react to certain stimuli or light patterns, such as those displayed in VR glasses, with epileptic seizures. Individuals who have not previously experienced seizures may also be affected. If you or your family has a history of such conditions, consult a doctor before using VR glasses.

Regulatory Compliance and Disposal

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive

Batteries, rechargeable batteries, and electrically powered devices must not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers are legally obligated to dispose of them separately.

These items can be returned free of charge to a collection point in your municipality/neighborhood or to a retailer, ensuring they are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner and valuable raw materials are recovered. Remaining parts should be disposed of with household waste.

Improper disposal can release toxic substances into the environment, causing harm to humans, animals, and plants. Batteries and rechargeable batteries contained in electrical appliances should be disposed of separately whenever possible.

Dispose of batteries and rechargeable batteries only when they are discharged. If possible, use rechargeable batteries instead of single-use batteries.

Tape the terminals of batteries containing lithium and rechargeable batteries before disposal to prevent external short circuits. A short circuit can lead to fire or explosion.

Batteries with a high level of harmful substances are also marked with the following symbols: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
