Important
Unpack all parts and packaging material from the box. Remove any clear or blue protective film from the components. Wash with warm, soapy water before first use (only select accessories are dishwasher safe).
Step 1: Initial Setup and First Meat Layer
Ensure the appliance is closed, latched, and rotated so the Grill Plate side faces downward. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. Allow the appliance to preheat for 3–5 minutes. Once preheated, unlatch and open the appliance, being careful not to touch the hot interior. Add approximately 3.5 oz of meat to the grill plate.
Step 2: Prepare for Filling Pocket
Verify that the pressing side of the Presser Plate is facing downward. Close the appliance to create a pocket in the meat.
Step 3: Add Filling
Fill the created pocket with about 1 oz of filling (or enough to fill the pocket), ensuring space is left for the second layer of meat. Do not overfill, as this will cause leaking during the cooking process.
Step 4: Add Second Meat Layer
Add the second layer of meat, approximately 2 oz. Flip the Presser Plate so its flat side is facing downward and secure it in place.
Step 5: Close and Position for Draining
Close the top lid over the meat and the lower section, then secure the latch. Flip the entire appliance over so the cavity part is now on top. This orientation allows grease to drain into the Drip Tray. The heating element side and power cord will now be on top.
Step 6: Remove Cooked Burger
Once the food is done cooking, it can be removed from the appliance. Wear oven gloves or mitts before handling to protect against escaping steam. Unlatch and open the appliance. Use nonstick coating-safe utensils to carefully lift the burger from the appliance.
