Jabra Engage 65 Mono: Switching Audio Between Desk Phone and Softphone
To switch from a desk phone connection to a softphone connection, follow these steps using your Jabra Engage 65 headset and base.
- Wear the headset.
- While the Desk phone status LED is lit white, press and hold (2 seconds) the Call button on the headset. The headset will announce "softphone”.
- Double press the Call button on the headset. The Computer status LED will light green. This indicates that the audio path to the computer is open, and there is microphone and speaker audio for computer applications.
- To return to the desk phone connection, press the Call button on the headset, or press the End/reject call button on the base. The Computer status LED will light white and then turn off. The Desk phone status LED will light white.

- Call button: Used to answer, end, or switch calls.
- Status LED: Indicates the connection status.
- Volume button: Adjusts the volume.
- Busylight: Indicates availability status.
- Mute button: Mutes or unmutes the microphone.
Base Diagram:
- Mute: Button to mute/unmute the microphone.
- Answer call: Button to answer incoming calls.
- Battery status: LED indicating battery level.
- Desk phone status: LED indicating connection to the desk phone.
- End/reject call: Button to end or reject calls.
- Conference (additional headsets): Port for connecting additional headsets for conference calls.
- Computer status: LED indicating connection to the computer.
