General Safety Instructions
- PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE UNIT AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
- Refer to the unit's instructions for use for cleaning and maintenance details.
- This unit is not designed for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities, or those lacking experience or knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person.
- Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the unit.
- Keep children under three years away from the unit unless under constant supervision.
- User cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by unsupervised children.
- Follow installation precautions specified in the unit's instructions for use.
- The power plug must remain accessible, or a switch must be installed in the fixed wiring, to allow disconnection from the mains supply at all times.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or a similarly qualified person to prevent risks.
- This unit is designed to dry a maximum laundry load, indicated in kilograms on the accompanying leaflet.
- Do not use the unit if chemicals have been used for cleaning purposes.
Operational Safety & Usage Guidelines
- If an air filter is included, clean it frequently. The air filter may also be called a fluff or lint collector. Prevent fluff accumulation around the unit.
- Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent backflow of gases from other fuel-burning appliances (including open fires) into the room.
- Do not dry unwashed items.
- Items soiled with substances like cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, stain removers, turpentine, wax, or wax removers should be washed in hot water with extra detergent before drying.
- Do not dry items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber-lined items, or clothing/pillows containing foam rubber parts.
- Use fabric softeners or similar products according to their instructions.
- Remove all items from pockets, such as lighters and matches.
- Fill steam generators only with manufacturer-specified liquids.
- WARNING: Never stop the machine before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out to dissipate heat.
- WARNING: The unit must not be powered by an external switch (e.g., timer) or connected to a circuit regularly switched by the electricity supplier.
- If the unit has vents at its base, do not obstruct them with a carpet.
- If the unit expels air outside (vented dryer), expelled air must not be discharged into a vent used for fumes from gas or other fuel-burning appliances.
- Do not install the unit behind a locking door, sliding door, or a door with a hinge on the opposite side that prevents full opening.
- If equipped with a hermetic motor-compressor refrigeration system using flammable refrigerants (e.g., heat pump condenser dryer):
- WARNING: Keep air vents of the unit's enclosure or built-in structure clear.
- WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- The eco programme is suitable for drying damp cotton laundry and is used to assess compliance with EU ecodesign legislation. It is the most energy-efficient programme for this purpose.
- Loading the tumble dryer to its maximum capacity for each programme optimizes energy consumption.

- This unit is designed solely to dry damp textiles pre-washed and spun in a household washing machine.
- This unit is intended for household use only.
- It is not suitable for similar applications such as:
- Staff kitchens in shops, offices, and other work environments.
- Farms.
- Guest use in hotels, motels, and other residential environments.
- Bed and breakfast environments.
- Communal spaces in residential buildings.
- More than one person is needed to carry the unit.
- WARNING: Keep packaging materials and accessories out of children's reach. Never let children play with them.
- DANGER: Never use the unit outdoors.
- Do not install the unit on carpet or similar covering.
- WARNING: Remove (if present) the drum retaining straps at the back of the unit. These safety screws are only for transport and must be removed before first use to avoid damage not covered by warranty.
- WARNING: The unit must be connected to an earthed mains socket.
- Do not connect via an extension cable or multi-socket.
- WARNING: Do not bend, crush, or jam the power cable.
- Leave sufficient space behind the unit to avoid direct contact with the mains socket.
- DANGER: Do not connect the unit to the mains with wet hands; risk of electric shock.
- DANGER: If laundry has been pre-treated with solvent-containing cleaning products, it may cause an explosion. Rinse pre-treated laundry thoroughly with water before drying.
- Always read textile labels before inserting items into the machine to avoid damage.
- Always check pockets and remove items before placing textiles in the unit.
- Load only with pre-washed and spun damp textiles.
- The final part of a drying cycle may be heat-free (cooling cycle) to ensure items reach a safe temperature.
- Thorough cleaning and maintenance operations must be done with the unit unplugged.
- Do not use a steam cleaner.
- For malfunctions not resolvable by this manual, contact after-sales service.
- WARNING: This appliance contains a UV emitter. Do not stare at the light source (if applicable).
Symbols Explained
- [CE marking]: Indicates compliance with the EU Radio Equipment Directive.
- [WEEE recycling symbol]: The product and its packaging are for recycling. Dispose of at a local collection point, not household waste. Manufacturer contributes to collection, sorting, and recycling.
- [AC power symbol]: The unit's power supply is alternating current.
- [Hot surface warning]: Indicates a very hot area where contact may cause burns.
- [Information symbol]: Recommendation to read the manual for important information.
- [Flammable materials warning]: Warning: Flammable materials, Fire risk.
After-Sales Service & Troubleshooting
- If you encounter a problem, first ensure you are following instructions, including cleaning, maintenance, and error code descriptions.
- Check the self-diagnostic troubleshooting tool via the website:
- If the problem persists, request support via the Electro-Dépôt website or in-store, or call the service number on your receipt/invoice.
- The warranty is a minimum of 2 years from purchase, covering home visits, professional repair, and spare parts. (Excludes specific insurance/extended warranties).
- WARNING: Defects and consequences from user or non-professional third-party interventions/repairs will void the warranty.
- The same procedure as for a warranted unit can be followed, but costs are not covered.

- CAUTION: User or non-professional third-party intervention/repair may endanger persons and property.
- WARNING: Manufacturer is not responsible for damage from self-repair due to user clumsiness or failure to follow instructions.

- DANGER: Disconnect the unit from all power sources (electricity, water, etc.) before any intervention.
- Depending on the unit, capacitors may need discharging with insulated pliers or screwdriver to avoid electric shock.
Disposing of Your Old Unit
Follow regulations to reduce environmental impact. You are responsible for sorting and recycling the product, accessories, instructions, and packaging.
- Electrical or electronic devices must not be mixed with household waste.
- Keep used products and packaging away from children.
- Retain instructions throughout the unit's life and pass them on with the unit if transferred.

Warranty Conditions
This product is guaranteed against manufacturing or material defects for two years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover defects or damage from incorrect installation, misuse, or excessive wear and tear. Proof of purchase is required.
