Pocket Hunter User Guide
This guide provides detailed instructions for using the Pocket Hunter device, which integrates automatic mobile capture and Bluetooth-based virtual positioning technology for Pokémon GO.
Unboxing and Device Overview
The Pocket Hunter features a USB-C port for connection to smartphones or power banks, a lanyard hole, and an LED indicator light.

How to Use
The Pocket Hunter is activated by connecting its USB-C port to a smartphone or power bank. It does not require separate charging. While playing, you can charge your smartphone using the Pocket Hunter's USB-C connector.
Steps for Activation:
- Connect the Pocket Hunter to your smartphone's USB-C port. A flashing green LED indicates power is confirmed.
- Download and open the Ultra Catcher APP.
- Grant Bluetooth usage permission when prompted.
- Allow push notifications.
- Tap "Go to Bluetooth Settings" to navigate to your phone's Bluetooth settings. Select "Pocket Hunter" from the list to connect.
- Return to the Ultra Catcher APP and tap "Allow While Using App" to grant GPS permissions.
Once these steps are completed, you are ready to play.
Automatic Pokémon Catching Setup
Follow these steps within the Pokémon GO app:
- Tap the "Main Menu".
- Tap "Settings".
- Tap "Connected Devices and Services".
- Tap "Accessory Devices".
- Tap the blinking "Pokémon GO Plus" to pair.
- Once paired, the Poké Ball icon will turn on, indicating a successful connection.

Game Status Indicator Lights
The LED light on the Pocket Hunter indicates various game statuses:
- Purple light flashing (once every 10 seconds): Connecting...
- Blue light: Found a PokéStop.
- Green light: Found a Pokémon.
- Yellow light: Found an unknown Pokémon.
- White light: Capturing Pokémon.
- Rainbow light: Item bag is full.
- Red light: Successfully caught/stocked up on Poké Balls, or PokéStop item retrieval successful.
- Flashing Red light: Pokémon fled, out of Poké Balls, Pokémon storage full, phone network disconnected, or failed to spin PokéStop.
Pocket Hunter Movement Operations
The Pocket Hunter allows for different movement modes:
Single Point Movement Mode
Tap the [move icon] ?, drag the flag to your desired stop point, and release to start moving to that location.
Patrol Mode
Click the [patrol icon] ? to start patrolling. The device walks counterclockwise within a 500-meter radius, moving from the outside inward. Click the [stop icon] ? to stop moving.
Patrol Mode (Add New Stop)
In Patrol Mode, tap the [move icon] ?, drag the flag to the stop point, and release. The device will move to that location and stay for 30 seconds before resuming patrol.
Note: For long-distance movements (over 1km), remove the device to prevent abnormal GPS displacement.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
If you are unable to connect:
- Remove "Pokémon GO Plus" from your phone's Bluetooth devices list.
- In the game, disconnect the "Pokémon GO Plus" device.
- Tap the blinking "Pokémon GO Plus" to reconnect.
Note: The device may automatically disconnect every hour due to game settings. Reconnection within the game is required.
Restore GPS Location
If you experience GPS issues:
- Power off the Pocket Hunter.
- Navigate to your phone's "Settings" > "Privacy & Security" > "Location Services".
- Turn off Location Services for one minute.
- Turn Location Services back on.
