Getting Started
Transport Safety
WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!! Remove the transport safety pin (1) before operation.
Battery Installation
The clock uses a standard AA battery. The battery compartment (2) is located on the back of the clock. Please observe the polarity markings. Remove the insulation foil from the battery before initial operation.
Time Setting
Automatic Time Setting
After correctly inserting the battery, the clock automatically sets to "12:00" and enters receiving mode. The correct time will be displayed within 3 to a maximum of 12 minutes. It is recommended not to move the clock from its location while it is adjusting. If the clock has not adjusted after 12 minutes, reception may be impaired or not possible at the selected location.
Resetting the Clock (RESET)
By pressing button (3), the clock's data will be reset and lost. This action activates the automatic time setting.
Manually Activating Radio Signal (REC)
Pressing button (4) for at least 3 seconds activates receiving mode. If the radio signal is correctly received, the clock will automatically adjust itself. If the time has not adjusted after 12 minutes, the radio signal is impaired. The clock will automatically revert to the time displayed before manual activation.
Manually Setting the Time (SET)
If no radio signal is received at your location, you can activate manual time adjustment by pressing button (5) for at least 3 seconds. Press button (5) again for 1 second to advance the clock by one minute. Holding down button (5) will continuously advance the minute hand. If button (5) is not pressed for more than 8 seconds, the time will be set.
Signal Reception
Receiving the Radio Control Signal
The radio-controlled clock automatically receives the radio signal 12 times a day, typically at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00, ..., 21:00, and 23:00.
