1. Key Operation, Indicator Light, and Voice Control Instructions
1. Button Description
(1) Power button
Function 1: Power on/off function.
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on and off the machine, and it will automatically start working. Pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds while the device is turned on will protect the screen.
(2) OK button
- Function 1: Video button/Photo button/Playback button.
- Turn on/off recording, long press to turn on/off WiFi.
- In recording mode, press the OK button briefly to record/stop recording.
- In photo mode, press the OK button briefly once to take a photo.
- In video browsing mode, short press the 'OK' button to play/pause the video.
(3) Mode key/menu key
Function 1: Mode switch key.
1. In standby mode for recording, press briefly to switch between different modes (recording/taking photos/playback).
2. In standby mode, long press for 3 seconds to enter the main menu function settings.
(4) Flip up key
Short press the 'scroll up' button in menu settings and playback mode to activate the scroll up function.
(5) Flip down key
Short press the 'scroll down' button in menu settings and playback mode to activate the scroll down function.
2. Indicator Light Description
- Blue light flashing: Recording in progress.
- Blue light on: Stop recording, standby mode.
- Blue light flash: Recorder device is upgrading firmware.
2. WiFi APP Download
When using the recorder for the first time, please scan the QR code below with your phone to download the recorder. WiFi connection to the dedicated mobile app (Wind Recorder): Install it on your phone.

Long press the OK button or turn on the WiFi hotspot in the recorder settings menu bar. After the hotspot is turned on, the account and password will be displayed in the lower left corner of the recording page.
Attention: WiFi will automatically shut down if not connected within five minutes of being turned on.
Find the WiFi hotspot of the recorder in the phone settings and enter the default password 12345678 to connect.
After the connection is completed, enter the APP and the recorder's time will be synchronized with the current phone's time. Additionally, you need to format the TF card on the APP.
3. Main Function Description of the Setting Interface
Reverse Visibility
Firstly, the car charger must be connected to the recorder, and the black and red lines on the cable camera should be connected to the reversing lights. The plug-in charging machine will automatically start recording mode, and if there is a reverse in any state, the reverse image will be displayed. After the reverse visibility is completed, the machine automatically returns to recording mode.
Gravity Induction
The device has a built-in collision sensor (G-sensor). In the event of a serious vehicle collision, the recorder will lock the video of the accident (the time of the video is set in the loop recording at that time) and save it as a special image. At the same time, the lock icon will be displayed above the display screen. Locked images will not be covered by loops.
Tip:
- Locked recording files start with LOC, while regular recording files start with MOV.
- The collision sensor (G-sensor) supports sensitivity adjustment, and can change the settings (high, medium, low, off) according to actual needs in the settings menu.
Parking Mode
When the parking mode function is turned on, if there is slight vibration in the car while it is turned off, the recorder will automatically start recording. If it is turned off, the recorder will record for 30 seconds and then turn off. The recorded image at this time is a locked image and will not be overwritten by loops.
