Function Overview

This section provides a general overview of the tablet's functions.

Getting Started

Before powering up the tablet, ensure that it is fully charged.

Device Components:

Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds to turn on your tablet. Select your language and set up your tablet following the start guide.

To turn off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds, then release. 'Power Off' and 'Restart' will appear on the screen. Tap 'Power Off' to turn off the tablet.

For a forced shutdown when the tablet is frozen, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.

Battery

The tablet has a rechargeable Li-ion battery. It is suggested to drain the battery completely once a month if the tablet is used only occasionally. Do not dispose of the tablet in a fire.

Sleep Mode

Press the power button once to switch the tablet to Sleep Mode when it is ON. Press again to wake it up.

Tip: Go to Settings > Display > Sleep to set the time for Sleep Mode.

Home Screen

Icons on the Bottom Menu:

Quick Settings

Swipe down from the top of the screen to access Quick Settings. You can control Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Do Not Disturb mode, screen orientation, Battery Saver, and Airplane Mode.

Wallpapers, Widgets and Home Settings

Tap and hold an empty section of a Home screen to access WALLPAPERS, WIDGETS, and HOME SETTINGS.

Setting Basics

Access detailed settings by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the settings icon, or by tapping the Setting icon on the Home screen.

Network Connection

Go to Wi-Fi settings in the Settings interface or enter Quick Settings.

Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Tap Network & Internet and turn on Wi-Fi. All available Wi-Fi connections will be listed.
  2. Select your Wi-Fi and input the correct password.

Bluetooth Pairing

Ensure Bluetooth is turned on for both your tablet and your Bluetooth device.

  1. Tap Connected devices and turn on Bluetooth.
  2. Tap Bluetooth > +Pair new device to enter the scanning interface. Available devices will be displayed.
  3. Tap the desired device to get a pairing code and click PAIR on both devices. Automatic connection may apply to some devices.

  1. Tap and open the Play Store on the Home screen.
  2. Log into your Google account, search, and download the desired app.

Internet Navigation

Ensure the tablet is connected to a working Wi-Fi network before navigating the internet. Use the pre-installed Chrome™ browser or another downloaded browser.

Multimedia

Connecting to the Computer

  1. Connect your tablet to the computer using a USB cable and go to Quick Settings.
  2. Tap Android™ System > USB charging this device > More options > Use USB to.
  3. Select Transfer files.
  4. On your computer, find your tablet (e.g., TAB30) to transfer files between the tablet and computer.

Tip: Select 'Charging this device' to charge your tablet or 'Transfer photos (PTP)' to transfer photos.

Connecting to an External Device

  1. Install a micro SD card into the micro SD card slot and go to Quick Settings.
  2. Tap 'New micro SD card detected' or the 'Set Up' prompt.
  3. Set the micro SD card as portable storage by selecting 'Use as portable storage'. Access the micro SD Card storage to move files between the card and tablet.

Troubleshooting

Q1. The tablet doesn't power on.

Q2. The tablet doesn't charge.

Q3. Error message occurs during operation.

Q4. The tablet cannot be detected by the computer.

Q5. The tablet cannot connect to Wi-Fi.

Q6. The storage space of the tablet is not enough.

This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the phone kept 10mm from the body.
