This dual-fan hard drive cooler provides optimal airflow for hard drives that overheat during operation, preventing heat-related failures and extending drive life. The fan assembly mounts into any available 5.25" half-height bay, with the hard drive mounting directly behind it using the included 3.5" to 5.25" adapter brackets. The fans draw cool outside air into the chassis through a removable, washable filter and blow this cooler air onto the hard drive. This cost-effective solution can extend the lifespan of IDE and SCSI hard drives in servers or workstations operating at 7200, 10000, or 15000 RPM.

The product is a black plastic enclosure designed to fit into a standard 5.25-inch computer drive bay. It features a front grille with two 40mm fans mounted behind it. The fans are positioned to draw air through the grille and blow it towards the rear, where a hard drive would be installed. The enclosure has a compact, rectangular shape typical of drive bay accessories.
