i3CONNECT ELM User Manual
This manual provides comprehensive information for the setup, operation, and maintenance of the i3CONNECT ELM interactive display.

General Safety Precautions
Before using this product, read and understand this manual and accompanying guidelines. Keep this manual for future reference and for training future operators.
Placement and Environmental Conditions
- The operating ambient temperature range is between 0°C and 40°C.
- Do not place the product near a radiator, heater, or other heat source.
- If the device is moved from a cold to a warm environment, unplug it for at least 2 hours to allow moisture to evaporate.
- Do not expose the device to rain or very humid conditions.
- Ensure the indoor climate is dry and cool. The permissible humidity range is between 10% RH and 90% RH.
- Place the device in a well-ventilated area. Ensure adequate space for ventilation: 10 cm on the sides and bottom, and 20 cm above.
Environment
- Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.

- Images and instructions are for indicative purposes; actual product may differ.
Unpacking
Two people are recommended for unpacking and subsequent installation.
- Remove plastic clips on 75" and 86" boxes.
- Remove straps. Lift the lid and remove protective material.
- Install all necessary hardware to hang the screen (refer to accessory manual).
- Keep packaging for future use.
Handling
The screen is large and heavy. The 65" and 75" models require two people for handling. The 86" model is recommended for three people.
Product Identification
The product label with full specifications and serial number is located on the back of the display. A duplicate serial number is provided for easy reference during wall installation.
Installation Preparation
A mounting bracket or cart is not included, as various options are available:
- Wall-mounted, height-adjustable, mobile, or a combination.
- Consult i3-CONNECT.com for options.
- Refer to the installation manual of the chosen mount.
- The screen has standardized VESA mounting points (M8 screws). Most mounts are compatible. Consider accessories like soundbars and cameras.
- Refer to drawings in this chapter for specifications and positioning, which vary by size.

Network Connection
Option 1: LAN Network
Connect the LAN cable to one of the two LAN ports on the bottom of the screen.
Option 2: WiFi Network
Insert the WiFi module into the slot on the bottom of the screen. It only fits one way: arrows pointing forward and up. Push it gently into place.
First Time Power On
When turning on the i3CONNECT display for the first time, the following menu pages will appear.
Turning the i3CONNECT Display On and Off
- Plug one side of the power cord into the AC power outlet and the other side into the wall socket.
- Switch on the Power Switch to turn the i3CONNECT interactive display on.
- The display is in standby mode. Wait for the power indicator light to turn on. Press the power button on the remote or the display to turn it on.
- Press the power button on the remote or the display to turn the display to standby mode.
- Switch off the Power Switch to cut off power completely.
NOTE: The i3CONNECT interactive display needs time to shut off correctly. Interrupting this process may prolong the next startup.
NOTE: If there is no active source, the display will go into standby mode after 3 minutes.
Connections
Ensure both the external device and the i3CONNECT display are turned off before connecting. Check cable plugs for correct type before connecting.
Initial Setup Screens
The initial setup includes selecting language, Wi-Fi connection, date and time, Google services, and setting a PIN.

Front Pen Holders
The bottom edge of the screen has two recessed areas that magnetically hold a stylus.

Remote Control
Button Assignment

- Power Button: Switch the i3CONNECT interactive display power on or off.
- Navigation Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right): Use arrow buttons to navigate on-screen menus.
- OK Button: Confirm or enter a sub-menu or toggle between options.
- Input Source Button: Display or exit input source menu.
- Menu Button: Display or exit the settings menu screen.
- Home Button: Go to the home page of the i3CONNECT interactive display.
- Volume Buttons: Adjust volume up or down.
- Mute Button: Mute the sound.
- Back Button: Return to the previous menu or exit the on-screen menu.
Remote Control Operation
- Install the included batteries to operate the remote control.
- Replace batteries when the remote responds slowly or not at all.
- NOTE: Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for over a month.

Setting up i3STUDIO
i3STUDIO is an intuitive interface for exploring the device's capabilities and managing settings. Refer to the online i3STUDIO manual for detailed information.

i3STUDIO Launcher Start Page Interface
i3STUDIO is an intuitive interface to explore the device's features and settings. Refer to the online i3STUDIO manual for detailed information.
1. Clock and Date Widget: Displays the current time and date.
2. Status Bar:
- A. i3CAIR Air Quality Widget: Requires optional i3CAIR sensor to monitor room air quality.
- B. Display Name: The name assigned during setup.
- C. WIFI Status: Name of the connected network.
- D. i3ALLSYNC KEY: For wireless device connection.
3. Fly Out Menu: Access tools, settings, and alerts.
4. Fly-Out Menu Control: Show and hide the Fly Out menu.
5. Widget Tiles: Add and launch favorite applications with a single touch. Initial widgets may vary based on preset 'Education' or 'Business' modes.
- E. Write: Use the screen as a flip-over or whiteboard.
- F. Present: Share content from your device and control it via the screen.
- G. Browser: Browse the internet, annotate, and share information.
- H. USB-C: Select the front input for a wired connection.
6. Shut Down: Exit and proceed to shutdown options.
