Dust Filter: For optimal cooling efficiency, regularly remove and clean the filters on both sides.

Hardware Installation

1. Connect the AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX to a 110-240V power source using the power cord, then turn on the power switch.
2. Connect the AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX to your laptop or desktop PC using the Thunderbolt™ 5 cable.
3. Connect your AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX to an external monitor via the DisplayPort or HDMI for an enhanced user experience and superior performance.
4. Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port for a stable wired network connection.

Description of ports: The AI BOX features one Thunderbolt™ 5 port and two USB Type-A ports at the rear, and one USB Type-C port at the front, allowing easy connection of various peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, headset, or storage device.

Software Installation

• To ensure a smooth driver installation, download the AI BOX driver installation tool from: https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N5090IXEB-32GD/support#dl. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the driver installation.
• Warning: Not using this installation tool may result in the AI BOX not functioning correctly. Manual driver installation for Thunderbolt™ 5-PCIe devices may lead to unforeseen challenges or incorrect operation.
• For extensive customization, download and install the GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER from the GIGABYTE website.

Notes on Cooling and Ventilation

• For optimal cooling, ensure the area around the AI BOX remains clear. Poor ventilation can lead to excessive heat buildup, affecting graphics card performance.
• Air intakes are located on the left, right, and bottom sides, while the exhaust is at the top. Be cautious of the hot exhaust from the top vent and avoid obstructing it.

Caution: High Heat Output.

Laptop Lid Settings

To continue using your laptop with the lid closed, go to "Power and sleep buttons and lid settings" and set "When I close the lid" to "Do nothing."

The AI BOX supports Power Delivery, providing 100W fast charging for your laptop.

• Do not remove the casing of this product during operation.

To safely remove the top and side panels of the chassis:

1. Press down all the way on the top panel latch on the back of the chassis.
2. Push and slide the top panel towards the back of the AI box and lift to remove the top panel.
3. Remove the dust filters completely by pulling them towards the back of the chassis.
4. The two side panels can then be removed by sliding them up and lifting away from the chassis.

To assemble the AI box back together:

1. Align the rivets on both side panels with the notches on the box, then slide the side panels down.
2. Slide the dust filters towards the front of the chassis.
3. Press and slide the top panel towards the front of the AI box until you hear a click sound.

Enabling or Disabling ErP LPS Compliance Mode

This AI Box meets the eco-design requirements of the ErP Lot 26 regulation. You can enable or disable the ErP LPS compliance mode in Gigabyte Control Center to reduce electricity consumption when your computer is off or in sleep mode.

A. Using GCC Software

1. Start Gigabyte Control Center.
2. Navigate to the home page and select the AI Box device.
3. Under the performance tab, select "Enable" for ErP LPS compliance mode, and set the time in minutes for the device to enter ErP LPS compliance mode after the computer is off or in sleep mode.
4. Click "Apply" to save the setting.

B. Using the Reset Button

1. Press and hold the Reset button for 4 seconds to enter ErP compliance mode directly.

When the ErP LPS compliance mode is enabled, you can wake up the AI Box by pressing the Reset button once.

Restricted Substances Information (RoHS Compliance)

Notes:

• Note 1: "Exceeding 0.1 wt%" and "exceeding 0.01 wt%" indicate that the percentage content of the restricted substance exceeds the reference percentage value of presence condition.
• Note 2: "○" indicates that the percentage content of the restricted substance does not exceed the percentage of reference value of presence.
• Note 3: "-" indicates that the restricted substance corresponds to the exemption.
