Block Diagram

The block diagram illustrates the signal path from the RTD input through the CPU, A/D converter, and D/A converter to the 4-20 mA output, powered by a 7.2-35 VDC supply.

Programming

Programming is done using the Loop Link communication interface and the PReset software. Loop Link is not approved for communication in hazardous (Ex) areas.

Entity concept: Transmitter must be installed per National Electrical Code (ANSI-NFPA 70). FM-approved equipment can be connected to barriers based on the ENTITY CONCEPT, provided agency criteria are met. Intrinsically safe devices must not be a power source. Ui/li/Pi must be greater than or equal to Uo/Io/Po of the barrier. Capacitance and inductance of intrinsically safe devices and wiring must be less than the barrier's allowance.
