1. Gradual acquaintance of the master screen
1.1Main interface The main interface appears after unlocking the device, which is divided into 9 grids, corresponding to the shortcut of the text tip on each one.
1.2 Introduction to the icons on the main interface
1.2.1 Icons always displayed on the screen : Backspace. Click this icon, the device will return to upper level of directory
from any interface.

: Home. Click this icon, the device will return to the main interface from any interface.
: Background applications. Click this icon to view applications running in background.
: Volume down. Reduce the volume. : Volume up. Raise the volume.
1.2.2 Icons of automatic display/concealing
USB connection prompt on the left, and Bluetooth, WIFI, battery and time display icons on the right. 1.3 Connecting computer Connecting the PAD to computer is equivalent to connecting a USB flash disk to computer. One can copy music, video, E-book, APK application and other documents into the PAD. When the PAD is connected to computer with a USB data line, the following interface prop will appear automatically on the PAD.
Click the icon "open the USB storage device" at the bottom right of the screen and it works. Then, there will be two more disk icons on the computer. Herein, the first one is the local disk and the other one which displays as "removable disk" will only be opened when TF card is inserted. If the main interface is displayed on the PAD

instead of the connection interface when the PAD is connected to computer, the user might have opened the Setting ----> Developer----> USB debugging Users can view the documents on the PAD which have been copied from the computer by opening the "File manager" software. File manager is on the main interface. Click multimedia and enter secondary interface.
Click the address bar, the keyboard pops up automatically to facilitate the user to input the address.

Put two fingers on the screen and then separate them so as to enlarge the display scale of the webpage; close the two fingers and the display scale will be reduced. Click the icon above the address bar to open a new window.

Click the icon

at the top right to display the concealed setting table of the

browser, as shown in the following figure.

PS: files are viewed through "File manager" as well when TF card is inserted or when external USB flash drive and other devices are connected to the computer by the OTG function of the device.
2.1 Open/close the original applications Click "Refresh" on this concealed table to open the webpage again if the network is not stable and the webpage cannot be opened normally. Click the setting icon at the bottom to individualize the setting of the browser. 2.2 Open/close the applications running in background
Click the background application icon under the desktop and all applications running in background will be displayed; click the icon of any application and it will transfer from running in background to present operating. Here, the introduction will focus on the internet accessing software of system

integration, i.e. the browser, which is similar to the new IE version on computer. Click the browser icon on the main interface to start the software.
Close the application: drag the icon upward or downward a little so as to close the application. 2.3 GPS information Click the icon "GPS information" to enter the GPS information interface as follows:
3. Setting
Individualize corresponding functions according to personal custom. Click the setting icon on the main interface to enter the setting interface as follows: The setting function on Android system is similar to the setting on mobile phone or the control panel on Windows system.

3.1 Wireless and network A brief introduction will be given in this section concerning the basic functions. Specific methods to connect tto he internet will be shown in detail in Chapter 5. 3.1.1 Wi-Fi 1. Open and close Wi-Fi Click the icon beside Wi-Fi to open WIFI. Then you can view the WIFI network around you on the right list as follows:
In the figure above, five WIFI signal sources are found. The small characters below each name (it is called SSID on router which can be set individually but Chinese characters are not recommended.) indicate the way of encryption of the wireless WIFI; the fan-shaped icon following each name indicates the strength of the WIFI signal. If a lock is added beside the fan-shaped icon, the signal is locked and it can only be accessed after inputting the password. 2. Connecting wireless WI-FI: If the wireless WIFI found is not encrypted, it will be connected after the WIFI is

opened. If it is encrypted, click the name of the wireless WIFI, a window will pop up automatically to input password; generally speaking, the internet will be connected after inputting the password and clicking the "Connect" icon.
Advanced WIFI setting: click the setting option on the top right and setting details will pop up; choose different functions individually.
3.1.2 Data utilization situation This option can display the WIFI data utilization situation.

3.1.3 More There are three options for this function: Airline mode, Internet sharing and Wi-Fi hotspot, VPN and USB network. 3.2 Device 3.2.1 Profile Profile, Volume, Touch sound, Screen locking sound and touch vibration can be set with this option.

3.2.2 Display

Internal storage space: namely the ROM space on mobile. It is the space distributed by the system to install APK applications. Memory space: Space in the local disk. It is the removable disk displayed on computer when it is connected to computer, generally several GB. EXTSD: TF card inserted by users Open the media scanning on SD card,: open this function and media documents in the TF card will be displayed in the music and video player when the TF card is inserted; otherwise, media documents in the TF card cannot be displayed. USBHOST1display item of the external USB flash disk connected by OTG Start media scanning on USBHOST1: open this function and media documents in the externally connected storage device will be displayed in the music and video

player when external storage device is connected through OTG; otherwise, media documents in the externally connected storage device cannot be displayed. 3.2.4 Battery This option displays the electric quantity and service condition of the battery.
3.2.5 Application This option displays all applications installed in this device. The user can uninstall the applications, delete data produced in the working process of the applications and change the storage location of the applications, transferring them from ROM (internal application installations space) to the local disk and vise versa.
Friendly tips: 1."Remove to SD card" in the above figure means to remove to the local disk, rather than the TF card inserted by the user, because the system loads the local disk on the category of SD card while the inserted TF card is loaded on the category of EXTSD. 2.The applications can be removed between ROM space and the local disk, but cannot be removed to the inserted TF card.

3.3 Individual 3.3.1 Location based service This option can only be used under internet environment with several applications supported possibly. 3.3.2.Security
Screen locking: default to none, able to be set as pattern, password, sliding, etc. Owner information: it can be set by the user individually. The result will be displayed on the left bottom of the screen lock interface. Unlocking pattern is set in the following figure. 3.3.3.Language and input method
Language: setting the system language Keyboard and input method: both the original input method and the ones installed by the user can be seen in this option. 3.3.4.Backup and re-setting

Restore factory settings: use this function to recover the system to initial state when some original software and certain functions cannot be used normally. However, it will delete all applications and data installed by the user, therefore backing up important data before applying this function and ensuring that the electric quantity of the battery is over 50%. 3.4 System 3.4.1 Date and time This option sets time-related information.
3.4.2 Auxiliary function This option is the original function of the system 3.4.3 Developer

USB debugging: default to closed state. Generally this function is opened only when the device communicates with third-part software installed on computer, such as 91 Mobile Assistant, Apps Assistant, etc. Pointer position: open this function and the current coordinate position will be displayed when the finger works on the screen. Touch display operation: open this function and a white round spot will appear instantly on the position the finger touches when touching the screen. Special attention: close the USB debugging function when connecting computer to recharge or copy data normally. 3.4.4 About the PAD This option generally displays software-related information of the PAD.
Android version: displaying the operating system version of the PAD. Firmware version: displaying the firmware version of the PAD. Friendly tips: Firmware of the PAD refers to exclusive software developed on the basis of the operating system, which is known as ROM on mobile; in other words, each

firmware contains the current Android operating system. 4. Connecting the navigation aid to internet 4.1 Wi-Fi 1. Open and close Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is opened under default state of the PAD. If there is Wi-Fi network around you, click Wi-Fi under the option of Setting and the device will automatically searche in the right list (it is recommended to close Wi-Fi when the network is not used for power saving; click the Open icon beside Wi-Fi and it will be closed) 2. Connecting wireless Wi-Fi In the figure above, five WIFI signal sources are found. When it is connected with the wireless router successfully, the WiFi icon will be displayed under the screen and "Connected" will be shown under the name of the router connected as follows: The navigation aid can get on the internet through the wireless signal sent out by the original Wi-Fi connection router, or connect wired signal through external 3G network card or Ethernet card with the help of OTG FUNCTION. Specific connecting methods of the three access methods will be introduced as follows: Now we can get online normally! If WIFI has been connected successfully on the PAD as is shown in the above figure while we are still unable to get online, please check related setting options of the wireless router according to your network

environment. If public wireless hotspot is used, please consult corresponding network provider. 4.2 Getting online through external 3G network card 1.Enter the Setting option and close WIFI network because only one network can be used at the same time. 2.Connect the OTG line (if there is none accompanying the device, please buy one OTG line) to the USB port of the PAD and connect the other end to 3G network card. 3.Wait a second and the 3G icon will appear on the top right of the screen when the PAD has recognized the external 3G network card. 5 Automobile data recorder 5.1 Start/ pause the automobile data recorder
The automobile data recorder is opened during starting-up. Click the icon to pause the recorder and click the icon again to restart the video recording. 5.2 Photographing After the automobile data recorder is opened, there is a photographing icon on the top right. Click the icon to take photos. Photographing is not allowed during the video recording process of the automobile data recorder; pause the video recording mode to take photos. 5.3 Locking video-recording During the video recording process, click the locking icon shortly to lock the current document; the document will not be deleted in the process of round recording. (as is shown in the following figure)

5.5 Automobile data recorder setting Enter the automobile data recorder program, operate it for 30s and then the setting icon and video playback icon on the left of the automobile data recorder will be concealed automatically.

Click any area of the screen and the setting icon and video playback icon on the left will pop up;

The first column is used to set the length for video recording; The second column is used to set the quality of the video and it displays the recording time during playback.
The third column is used to set the sensitivity of the device and the default voice.
The fourth column is used to set whether the automobile data recorder is started - 19 -

during starting-up of the device and whether background recording program is opened.

The fifth column recovers the default setting.

5.6 Video playback Enter the automobile data recorder program, operate it for 30s and then the setting icon and video playback icon on the left of the automobile data recorder will be concealed automatically. Click any area of the screen and the setting icon and video playback icon on the

left will pop up; click the setting icon

to enter video playback interface.

Videos recorded during normal recording will be stored in the column of video file (unlocked).

Videos recorded with manual locking or stored with impact will be stored in the column of video file (locked). Pictures taken by the camera will be saved in the column of picture

6.1 FM emission Click the FM icon

on the main interface to enter FM emission interface.

Check the blank space before Using FM to use FM emission.
A power cord and a reception source which is able to provide FM reception are needed to use FM emission. Adjust the FM emission to the same frequency with the reception source and then the FM emission function can be used as is shown in the following figure.

7.Game Click the game functions on the main interface Click the game icon to enter game interface. There is Stand-alone Landlords in the device. Long-click of the Power icon or the connection of USB car charger will promote DVR into automatic video recording mode. (Please insert TF card firstly) the document will be stored in TF card automatically now. With long-click of the Power icon, Sleep, Off or Cancelling interfaces will pop up and the video will be stored automatically when the device is turned off. Connect the device to power source. When it is disconnected, Off, Sleep, Cancelling prompts will pop up and the user can choose Off or Sleep individually; the device will take Sleep mode if no operation is made after 20s.
