Prefilter Replacement
Hold down the tool with one hand onto the stand (1) and grasp the suction hose at the point where it meets the protective cover and pull upward (2) to undock the solder-collector group from the heating element.
Then take the frontal gasket an the worn paper prefilter out.

Positioning the Paper Prefilter
To position the paper prefilter correctly, do as follows:
Remove the front gasket and insert the folded paper prefilter with its perforated side against the wool filter. Reinsert the front gasket and position it with its opening facing the same direction as the filter-leg with the large opening. Reassemble the solder-collector group onto the tool.
