AquaBarista Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Read Instructions

Read all instructions before connecting the dispenser. IMPORTANT: Do not connect the dispenser until step 6. This guide is a general reference for quickly and easily setting up your AquaBarista. For complete installation, operation, and safety instructions, consult the owner's manual.

Step 2: Position the Dispenser

Place the dispenser on a level floor surface, at least 4 inches (10 cm) from the wall.

Step 3: Prepare Bottle Adapter

Open the dispenser door and insert the bottle adapter. Open the dispenser door by sliding the door upwards to access the bottle area. Unpack the bottle adapter from the bag inside the cabinet. Remove the protective cap from the end of the hose and insert the hose into the top of the adapter. Then connect the bottle adapter cap to the SmartFlo™ water system tube.

NOTE: Touching the bottle adapter assembly parts with bare hands may cause contamination. Be sure to wash your hands before assembly or wear sterile gloves when handling bottle adapter assembly parts.

Step 4: Insert Bottle Support

Insert the bottle adapter support into the bottle. Place a new bottle outside the cabinet and wipe it with a cloth. Completely remove the bottle cap. Place the bottle adapter support into the bottle. Slide the bottle adapter over the bottle neck and push down to secure it. Push the support down until the tube touches the bottom of the bottle. Place the bottle inside the cabinet and slide the door down to close it.

NOTE: Insert the bottle adapter tube into the bottle as quickly as possible to ensure proper disinfection. Do NOT turn on the heater yet.

Step 5: Insert Drip Tray

Insert the drip tray.

Step 6: Connect and Prepare Water System

Connect the dispenser and prepare the water system. Prepare the water system by filling the hot and cold water tanks. First, press the cold water lever until water begins to flow. Then, press the hot water lever until water begins to flow. This may take approximately 1 minute per tank.

Step 7: Activate Heating

Activate the heating function. Slide the door upwards and turn on the hot water tank heater switch located on the right side of the cabinet. The water will heat up in approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 8: Dispense Water

Dispense water. Place a container under the hot and cold water taps; press each lever. Dispense 1 quart of water before drinking.
