HomeWhiz Function

The HomeWhiz function allows you to check your dishwasher and monitor its status via your smart device.

The display when HomeWhiz is enabled shows a specific icon.

HomeWhiz Setup and User Account Settings

To use the HomeWhiz function:

  1. Install the HomeWhiz application from your smart device's app store.
  2. Ensure your smart device is connected to the internet.
  3. Complete the registration process with your email address in the application.
  4. Use the "Add/Remove Appliance" section to pair your dishwasher with your account.

Initial Setup:

  1. Tap "Add/Remove Appliance" in the HomeWhiz app.
  2. Tap "Tap here to setup a new appliance".
  3. When the machine is off, press the On/Off key and Remote Control key simultaneously to enter the settings menu. Select "wireless connection setup".
  4. On your smart device's settings, connect to the "HomeWhiz xxx-xxxx" network (password available in the app).
  5. Connect your smart device to the HomeWhiz network and return to the app. Tap Next to proceed.
  6. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  7. The HomeWhiz icon (Wi-Fi symbol) will flash during connection and become solid once established.
  8. Ensure your smart device is on the same network for initial connection.
  9. Name your dishwasher in the app.
  10. Upon successful setup, the product returns to the main screen. If setup fails within 5 minutes, the HomeWhiz icon will turn off, and the product will switch off. Repeat setup from step 1 if necessary.

Using the dishwasher on more than one device

Install the HomeWhiz app on additional smart devices and log in with your existing account to use the dishwasher.

Setting up dishwasher through a new account:

  1. Create a new account and log into the HomeWhiz app. Ensure your smart device and dishwasher are on the same network.

  3. Tap (+) next to the dishwasher to add it and give it a name.
  4. A request will be sent to the owner via email. Joint use is possible after owner confirmation.

Your smart device and dishwasher do not need to be on the same network after initial setup, as long as your smart device is connected to the internet.

HomeWhiz On/Off

Press the remote control key to enable or disable the HomeWhiz function. When disabled, the indicator returns to the delay/programme time display.

Changing the Downloaded Program

You can change the Downloaded Programme via the HomeWhiz application. Refer to the "Table of Program Data and Average Consumption Values" for program details.

To change the Downloaded Program:

You can download multiple programs. If you download a new program, the previous selection will be cancelled.

Adjusting the Water Softening System

Proper adjustment of the water softening system improves washing, rinsing, and drying performance.

To adjust the system:

  2. Let tap water flow for approximately 1 minute.
  3. Dip the test strip into the water for 1 second.
  4. Take out the strip, shake it, and wait for 1 minute.
  5. Compare the strip to the indicators to determine the water hardness level (Level 0 to Level 5).
  6. Make the necessary adjustment based on the test strip result.

After detecting the water hardness:

  1. Switch on the machine and press and hold the Menu key for 3 seconds (some models may require a single press).
  2. Use the "<" and ">" keys to navigate until the water hardness setting indicator shows "r".
  3. Use the Selection key to adjust the water hardness level according to your water supply. Refer to the "Water hardness level setting table" for correct settings.
