The Festoso X9 combines a portable karaoke machine with a suitcase-like design and wheels for easy transport. It features a mesmerizing LED front panel lightshow, a top-mounted disco ball, organized mic holsters, built-in EQ controls (echo, treble, bass), and two wireless UHF microphones. Review Before Using

Please read the following important notes before operating your MASINGO Festoso X9:

  1. Keep this manual for future reference.

  7. Unplug the machine during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
  8. Refer all technical servicing to qualified personnel. Do not attempt to service if damaged by liquid, drops, or other issues.
  9. Do not force a USB drive into its slot; it only inserts one way.
  10. To maintain performance and battery longevity, fully charge the machine at least once every month and before long-term storage.

Detailed Usage Guide

Machine Operation

How to turn the machine on/off

Press and hold the Power (4) button. The LED screen will read "HI" and say "Power On." Press again to turn off.

How to charge the machine

Plug the Power Adapter (25) into the Charging Port (2) and then into a wall outlet. Charge fully (6-8 hours) before each use.

How to adjust the Machine Volume

Turn the Master Volume (11) knob. You can also use your connected smart device's volume controls.

How to operate the LEDs

Press the LED (10) button to turn LEDs on/off. The front panel lights up with a fire-like effect, and the disco ball syncs with music rhythm. Tapping the top near the disco ball syncs lights to your taps. There is only one LED mode.

Karaoke and Audio Features

How to use Karaoke Mode

Karaoke Mode allows you to add your voice over audio tracks. Two versions exist: "Classic Karaoke Mode" (removes all vocals) and "Auto Vocal Removal" (reduces vocals when singing into the mic). Click the Karaoke Mode (12) button once for Classic, twice for Auto, and again to turn off.

How to use Voice Effects

Five voice effect modes are available: Monster, Male, Female, Baby, and Magic. Hold the Karaoke Mode (12) button to cycle through them. Hold again to switch to the next mode. After the last mode, it cycles back to OFF, then to Monster.

How to use the EQ

The EQ has three knobs: Echo/Reverb (15), Treble (16), and Bass (18). Turn right to adjust. Turn all knobs left to return to normal.

How to use the Repeat button

Click Repeat (14) once for "repeat once" (current song). Double-click for "repeat all" (entire playlist).

How to use the Monitor function

Connect headphones to the Monitor (7) input using a 3.5mm jack. Ensure Master Volume (11) and headphone volume are at mid-level.

Connectivity and Playback

How to connect the machine to your television

Connect the AUX-RCA Cable (24) from the 3.5 mm AUX Port (8) on the machine to your TV's RCA port.

How to attach the Device Holder

Press the spring-loaded arms of the Device Holder (27) inward, place it between the extendable handle, and release to secure. Place your smart device in the holder and adjust.

Microphones

How to turn the microphones on/off

Hold the Mic Power Button (23) on each microphone. The LED screen will show frequency, battery, and connection status.

How to adjust the microphone volume

Turn the Mic Volume (1) knob to the right.

How to connect a third-party wired microphone

Plug a 6.5mm AUX jack into the 6.5mm Mic Input (6). Adjust volume with the Mic Volume (1) knob.

How to install or replace the UHF microphone's batteries

Unscrew the bottom cap, insert two AA batteries (not included), and screw the cap back on.

How to use PA mode

When no music is playing, speak into a connected microphone for announcements.

How to transport

Extend the handle and roll the machine like a suitcase. Place microphones in holsters. Use side handles for carrying.

How to set up playback modes

Modes include Bluetooth, AUX, USB, and PA. Refer to the "Parts & Features" section for input locations.

How to connect to Bluetooth (using your smart device)

On the machine, the screen will show "HI" then "BLUE" and "Bluetooth Mode." On your device, search for "MASINGO" and connect. The machine will say "Bluetooth Connected." Keep devices within 10 meters for stable connection.

Caution: Do not set your smart device volume to maximum. Adjust to midrange and use the Master Volume (11) knob.

How to start USB mode (Playing music from a USB drive)

Plug a USB drive into the USB-A Input (9). Press Mode (13) to select USB mode. The screen will show "USB" and say "USB mode." If no audio files are found, it may switch to Bluetooth or AUX mode. Press Play/Pause (20) to play, Previous (19)/Next (21) to change tracks, and Play/Pause again to pause.

Note: Mode button only cycles to USB if a drive with audio files is connected.

How to start AUX mode

Connect a device using the 3.5mm AUX cable (26) to the AUX input (8). Press Mode (13) until "LINE" appears and the machine says "AUX mode."

How to use multiple playback modes

Activate each mode as instructed, then press Mode (13) to switch between them.

How to sing karaoke using your machine

  1. Find karaoke tracks online (e.g., YouTube channels like "Sing King").
  2. Stream via Bluetooth, download to USB, or connect via AUX cable.
  3. Press the Mode button to set up your preferred playback mode.
  4. Sing!

Remote Controller

How to use the Remote Controller

Aim the remote directly at the machine, within 6 meters and a 30-degree angle. Avoid obstacles and direct sunlight. Replace batteries regularly.

Remote Functions:

  • 1. Repeat: Enable "repeat once" or "repeat all."
  • 2. Song Selection: Enter song number on keypad to jump tracks in USB mode.
  • 3. AUX Mode: Select AUX input.
  • 4. Previous: Skip to previous track.
  • 5. Next: Skip to next track.
  • 6. Bluetooth Mode: Select Bluetooth input.
  • 7. Start Recording: Begin recording audio. Click again to stop.
  • 8. Mute: Mute/unmute audio.
  • 9. Mode Selection (INPUT): Cycle through playback modes (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, PA).
  • 10. Increase Volume (VOL+): Increase volume.
  • 11. Play/Pause: Control playback.
  • 12. Decrease Volume (VOL-): Decrease volume.
  • 13. EQ Mode: Cycle through EQ modes.
  • 14. Playback Recordings (RC PY): Play back recorded files. Use PREV/NEXT to navigate recordings.

How to repeat

Click Repeat (1) once for "repeat once." Double-click for "repeat all."

How to jump to a track using Song Selection

In USB mode, enter the song number using the remote's keypad (2).

How to enable AUX Mode

Click the AUX (3) button.

How to skip to the previous or next song

Press PREV (4) and NEXT (5) buttons.

How to enable Bluetooth Mode

Click the BT (6) button.

How to record

Click REC (7) to start recording. Click again to stop.

How to mute

Click Mute (8) to mute/unmute.

How to switch between modes

Click INPUT (9). The machine cycles through Bluetooth, AUX, USB, and PA modes.

How to increase or decrease volume

Click VOL+ (10) and VOL- (12).

How to play/pause

Click Play/Pause (11).

How to use EQ mode

Press EQ (13) to cycle through EQ modes.

How to playback your recordings

Press RC PY (14) to enable playback. Use Play/Pause (11) to play/pause and PREV (4)/NEXT (5) to navigate recordings.

MASINGO App

How to use the MASINGO App

The app provides full control of your sound from a smart device, allowing adjustments to mic/guitar input, volume, sound effects, and playback modes.

Downloading the App:

Scan the QR codes provided in the original PDF (QR codes are excluded from this HTML output). The app is not available on standard app stores; it must be downloaded via the QR codes.

Android Phones: Follow instructions to enable installation from "Unknown sources" in Settings > Security.

Apple iPhones: Follow instructions to trust the app profile in Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management.

Home Page (App)

How to connect to the machine

Open the App, click "Festoso X9 APP," then "CONNECT" to scan for Bluetooth devices. The connection logo changes from white to red upon success.

How to adjust the Mic/Guitar Volume

Tap the Mic/Guitar knob on the screen and scroll right.

How to adjust Machine Volume

From the home page, tap the Music knob and scroll right.

How to Mute

Tap the Mute switch. Muting automatically turns off when adjusting amplifier/music volume.

Guitar/Microphone Channel Page (App)

How to adjust Volume, Echo and Reverb

On the Guitar/Mic Channel page, tap and scroll the Volume, Echo, and Reverb knobs to the right.

How to use Mic Effects

Navigate to the Guitar/Mic Channel page. Scroll the vertical selector to choose between Reverb, Echo, and Reverb+Echo.

What is Reverb?

Reverb is an audio effect that simulates room acoustics, making sound appear "bigger" or more spacious.

What is Echo?

Echo is a sound effect caused by reflections, creating repetitions of sound that decay over time.

The combination of Reverb and Echo

Creates a dreamy, enhanced vocal effect.

How to use Mic Priority

On the Guitar/Mic Channel page, tap the Mic Priority switch. This dampens background music to make vocals clearer for announcements.

Music Channel Page (App)

How to use EQ

On the Guitar/Mic Channel page, use the EQ controls at the bottom to adjust frequencies. Tap "Reset" to return all settings to zero.

How to return to the previous page

Click "Home" to return.

Music Volume

Adjust volume by rotating the music volume knob clockwise (increase) or counter-clockwise (decrease).

Song selection

In USB mode, enter the song number on the USB drive and click OK to jump to that track.

Input channel selection

Select AUX, BT (Bluetooth), or USB by tapping the respective option.

How to Play, Pause, Skip, and Repeat Songs (App)

  • Previous and Next Song: Use left/right arrows.
  • Play/Pause: Use the Play/Pause option.
  • Repeat: Tap the circular arrows to set a song to repeat.

How to Record to a device (App)

  • Start recording: Insert USB, tap red Record button. Files are named VOICE/RECORD/REC, REC001, REC002, etc.
  • Stop recording: Press INPUT or REC button.
  • Play recordings: Insert USB, press PLAY. Use Prev (19)/Next (21) to select files.

How to use Karaoke Mode (App)

Two versions: "Classic Karaoke Mode" (tap ACC) removes vocals. "Auto Accompaniment" (tap AUTO ACC) reduces vocals when singing. Tap ORIGINAL to deactivate.

EQ Balance

Adjust 7 EQ segments by dragging knobs.

Reset

Click "Reset" to return all EQ settings to 0db.

Maintenance

How to clean

Turn off and unplug the machine. Wipe the exterior with a clean, dry cloth. Keep vents, buttons, and openings free of lint and dirt. Do not immerse in water or use harsh cleaners.

How to store

Charge the machine and microphones. Ensure the machine is clean and dry. Bind cables individually. Store in a cool, dry place away from damaging elements. Do not wrap cords tightly around the machine.

Troubleshooting Guide

UHF wireless microphone is not turning onEnsure microphone is powered on and has sufficient battery charge. If not, replace AA batteries.
USB mode is not workingEnsure USB drive is inserted properly and contains readable music files. Ensure machine volume is audible.
Machine is not playing microphone vocalsCheck microphone volume is turned up. Ensure wired microphone is plugged in correctly. Check wireless microphone batteries are installed and charged. Ensure machine volume is on.
Microphone vocals are echoing excessivelyMove the machine speaker further away from the microphones to reduce echo.
Machine powers on and then shuts downThe battery is low. Please charge the machine.
No sound is playing from the speakerEnsure volume on the machine and your device (if applicable) are set to an audible level.
Button or knob on the machine is not working properlyPower off the machine and turn it back on.
The monitor function is not workingEnsure the 3.5 mm jack of your monitor cable is fully plugged in. Ensure Master Volume (11) is set to mid-level.
The remote is not workingPlease change the remote's batteries.
