Plug the USB type A connector of UTP-Fiber1G-USB into the USB port of the target device to serve as power source. UTP-Fiber1G-USB QSG 2 UTP_Fiber1G_USB-QSG-revA1 255-80-0069-00-RoHS 3. Flip open the dust cover of the UTP-Fiber1G-USB to reveal the fiber port, then connect the fiber cable's LC connector to the fiber port. Warning: To prevent damage to the dust cover, do not bend it all the way back. 4. Connect the other end of the fiber cable to the fiber port of a target device to verify that the fiber connection is complete. QS Rule Removing the UTP-Fiber1G-USB 1. Press the fiber cable's connector and pull to remove it from UTP-Fiber1G-USB. 2. Remove the UTP-Fiber1G-USB's USB type A connector from its power source. 3. Press the latch down and pull to remove UTP-Fiber1G-USB from the target device's RJ45 port.
