Stacking or Pedestal Installation
The washer can be stacked under a compatible LG dryer or placed on an LG pedestal or pedestal washer. Always refer to the instructions provided with the optional pedestal kit. Avoid using a drain pan with pedestal installations, as it can block the drawer and lead to increased vibration and noise.
Installation: Connecting the Water Inlet Hose
Follow these steps for proper water inlet hose connection:
- Check Fittings: Inspect the threaded fittings on each hose. Ensure a [Rubber Seal] is present in both ends of each hose to prevent leaks.
- Connect to Faucets: Connect the water inlet hoses to the hot and cold water faucets. Tighten by hand, then use [Pliers] for an additional 2/3 turn. Connect the blue hose to the cold water faucet and the red hose to the hot water faucet.
- Flush Hoses: After connecting, turn on the water faucets and flush out any foreign substances (dirt, sand, sawdust) into a [Bucket]. This prevents damage to washer inlets and potential leaks. Check water temperature to confirm correct faucet connections.
- Connect to Washer: Attach the hot water inlet hose to the [Hot Water Inlet] on the back of the washer. Attach the cold water inlet hose to the [Cold Water Inlet].
- Secure and Test: Tighten all fittings securely. Turn on both faucets fully and [Check for Leaks] at both ends of the hoses.
