A. Key Introduction

This section details the physical components of the camera.

  • Switching key: Used for power and mode switching.
  • Reset button: Press and hold for 3-5 seconds to reset the camera to factory defaults if abnormal. The blue light will blink twice quickly upon successful reset, then change to a slow blinking blue light.
  • TF card slot: For inserting a memory card.
  • Charging port: For powering the device.

Note: It is recommended to charge the camera for 1-2 hours upon receipt. The yellow charging indicator light stays on while charging and turns off when fully charged.

B. APP Download

To use the camera, download the V380Pro APP. Scan the QR code provided below to download the V380Pro APP from your mobile app store. After installation, register and log in to your account.

C. Networking Tutorial

WiFi mode (Remote Mode)

This mode allows for remote access to your camera.

  1. Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for 3-5 seconds until the light turns on. Wait for the blue light to flash slowly.
  2. Open the V380Pro APP. Click the "+" icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Scan the QR code affixed to the bottom of the camera to access the matching page.
  4. Enter your available 2.4GHz WiFi network name and password, then click "OK". Note: This device does not support 5G band WiFi.
  5. Position the camera lens to scan the QR code displayed on your cell phone screen (maintain a distance of 15-20cm). Press "Hear Success Tone" when the blue light is on. Wait for the device to bind to the network.
  6. Upon successful binding, the page will automatically jump. Follow the on-screen prompts to set a device name and a custom password.

Reminder: In proximity mode (without networking), the theoretical connection distance is about 30 meters in open, interference-free environments. Actual performance may vary based on the environment.

AP Hotspot Mode (Proximity Mode)

This mode allows direct connection to the camera's Wi-Fi hotspot for local access.

  1. Long press the "ON/OFF" button for 3-5 seconds to turn on the device. Wait for the blue light to flash slowly.
  2. On your mobile phone, open the WiFi list and connect to the WiFi signal starting with "MV***" (e.g., MV43999723). [Figure 1: Mobile WiFi list showing MV*** network]
  3. Open the V380Pro APP. On the device list interface, scroll down to reveal "Discover Devices". Click "Add Device", customize the device password, and then you can start using it. [Figure 2: V380Pro APP interface showing 'Discover Devices' and 'Add Device' options]

Setting up the camera for remote monitoring

Once the camera is connected to your home Wi-Fi, you can configure it for remote access.

  1. In the V380Pro APP, click on the preview screen of your camera, then tap "Settings". [Figure 3: Camera preview screen with 'Settings' option]
  2. Navigate to the settings screen and select "Change device network". [Figure 4: Settings menu showing 'Change device network']
  3. In the interface, click "Switch Device to Routing Mode" at the bottom.
  4. Select "Click here to change WiFi", choose your home WiFi network, and enter the password to switch to remote mode.

FCC Warning

1. This device should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body.
2. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
   (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
   (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
3. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
4. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
   - Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
   - Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
   - Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
   - Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
