The F&P ICON+ with Added Simplicity
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare has responded to user feedback by introducing the F&P ICON+ with enhanced simplicity. This model features a simplified user experience, including a 'Simple Mode' for patients, a stylish new color, and smart clinical technologies.
The design includes an easy-to-access Clinician menu and a simple patient mode. The patient mode provides straightforward access to the three most frequently used settings: on/off, ramp, and humidity. These improvements aim to reduce patient setup and product instruction time, fostering a positive experience for both patients and clinicians.

Key Components and Technologies
Water Chamber: A one-piece, 420 ml capacity chamber that is dishwashable, designed for optimal water usage.
InfoUSB 2 / USB Port: This port houses the InfoUSB 2 device, which records patient compliance, efficacy, and flow data.
Chamber Lid: Must be fitted correctly for optimal pressure delivery. It also serves as a handle for carrying the device.
Menu System: Offers a simplified user experience with a 'Simple Mode' for patients and easy access to the Clinician menu.
SmartDial™: Features intuitive controls for one-touch navigation of the Menu System, utilizing a 'Press, Turn, Press' interaction.
ThermoSmart™: Enhanced Humidity and Comfort
ThermoSmart™ Technology represents Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's advanced humidification philosophy. It is compatible with all F&P ICON+ models and incorporates an advanced humidification algorithm and a heated breathing tube. This combination works to deliver optimal humidity levels and minimize condensation (rain-out) in the breathing circuit.
Heated Breathing Tube Humidification: Features a heated copper coil within the tube to maintain consistent temperature and reduce condensation.
SensAwake™: Responsive Pressure Relief
SensAwake™ technology promotes improved sleep quality by addressing pressure intolerance during subconscious waking. Unlike other pressure relief systems that offer partial relief during exhalation, SensAwake™ provides prompt and significant pressure reduction to the lowest comfortable level upon detecting wakefulness. This facilitates an easier return to sleep and uninterrupted therapy.

InfoSmart Web is a flexible management system providing multiple data transfer options for efficient patient adherence management and reporting.

Dashboard: The InfoSmart Web dashboard offers healthcare providers an instant, real-time overview of patient adherence. Compliant and non-compliant patients are visually indicated (color-coded) to highlight areas requiring early intervention. A single click on a patient's report link generates a detailed compliance report.
Customizable Automated Patient Reminders: InfoSmart Web can send personalized reminders to patients via telephone, text, or email at regular intervals to prompt them to upload their therapy data.
