This product runs from battery or a universal USB mains charger with a 5V power supply (minimum 2.4 amp output). We recommend charging the machine for a minimum of 12 hours before first use. For best results, sing directly into the microphone.
Initial Setup Steps:
- A: Plug in the 5V USB Micro Cable (Rear Panel 26) and Power Up (Button 4, press for 2-3 seconds).
- B: Bluetooth searches for devices automatically.
- C: Turn on your Bluetooth device to sync with the machine's Bluetooth.
- D: Look for EKS468 and select to connect.
- E: For LINE-IN/AUX-IN, press the Mode Button (Button 17).
- F: Connect to LINE-IN/AUX-IN (port 30 on rear panel).
- G: For USB Mode, insert cable into the USB Slot (Button 1).
- H: Insert microphone(s) into socket(s) 25, 27, 29, or 31.
- I: To Record, press REC/PLAY once.
- J: To Playback, hold REC/PLAY for 2-3 seconds.
- K: For USB charging, plug a device into port 11.
- L: Use AUX/Line Out (port 28 on rear panel) to connect audio to an external device. When connected, the internal speakers will be disabled.
Controls and Indicators
Buttons (1-19)
- 1: USB input for Playback & Record
- 2: BATTERY indicator. (Green when charged, red while charging)
- 3: KEY+ Button. Increases semitones (up to 12). Short press KEY+, each press increases by one semitone.
- 4: POWER Button. Hold for 2-3 seconds to turn the unit ON/OFF.
- 5: KEY- Button. Decreases semitones (up to 12). Short press KEY-, each press decreases by one semitone.
- 6: REPEAT Button. Plays the last track. Double-click for repeat all, click again to stop playback.
- 7: RANDOM Button. Initiates random playback under USB mode.
- 8: DISCOBALL Button. Turns the LED lights ON/OFF.
- 9: VOICE Button. Selects microphone voice effects (Male, Female, Baby, Electronic).
- 10: BLUETOOTH connection indicator. (Blue light flashes until paired, then stays solid).
- 11: USB Charge port. Can charge another device (e.g., mobile phone, tablet).
- 12: POWER/Charge indicator. (Red light for charging, green light for fully charged).
- 13: PREVIOUS Button. Selects the previous song (Bluetooth/USB). Long press to fast rewind (Bluetooth/USB). No fast rewind under LINE-IN mode.
- 14: PLAY/PAUSE Button. Plays or pauses the track (Bluetooth/USB). In LINE-IN mode, short press mutes audio, another short press unmutes.
- 15: NEXT Button. Selects the next song (Bluetooth/USB). Long press to fast forward (Bluetooth/USB). No fast forward under LINE-IN mode.
- 16: 10+/F+ Button. Short press skips 10 songs. Long press F+ changes the folder; subsequent presses change to the next folder's song.
- 17: MODE Button. Switches between Bluetooth, USB, and LINE-IN modes. If no USB is connected, only Bluetooth and LINE-IN are available.
- 18: RECORD/PLAY Button. For recording: plug microphone into MIC jacks, ensure USB flash drive is in 'USB PLAY RECORDER' socket. Press once to start recording (display shows "REC"), press again to stop (display shows "END"). To playback recordings, press and hold for 2-3 seconds (display shows "END"). During playback, use buttons 13, 14, 15 for navigation. Press and hold button 18 for 2-3 seconds to exit playback.
- 19: LED Button. Turns the LED light display ON/OFF.
Knobs (20-24)
- 20: MIC 1 & 3 VOLUME knob. Controls volume for microphones 1 and 3.
- 21: ECHO knob. Controls the echo depth for all microphones.
- 22: MASTER VOLUME knob. Controls the volume of the music.
- 23: BASS-BOOST knob. Enhances or decreases bass.
- 24: MIC 2 & 4 VOLUME knob. Controls volume for microphones 2 and 4.
Jacks (25-31)
- 25: MIC1 input Jack.
- 26: 5V-IN DC input power/charger Jack.
- 27: MIC2 input Jack.
- 28: AUX-OUT audio output Jack.
- 29: MIC3 input Jack.
- 30: AUX-IN audio input Jack.
- 31: MIC4 input Jack.
