Installation Instructions

Before Installation

1. Carefully read and understand the instructions before attempting installation.
2. For safety, disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning.
3. For easier assembly, run all wires prior to mounting speakers. Have tools ready: drill, Allen keys, crimpers, soldering iron, wire strippers, heat shrink tubing.
4. Use high-quality, waterproof connectors for a reliable installation and to minimize signal or power loss.
5. Be cautious when drilling: avoid gas tanks, fuel lines, brake/hydraulic lines, vacuum lines, or electrical wiring. On boats, avoid drilling through the main hull.
6. Never place cables near fuel lines or power sources. Run wires inside the vehicle or hull for best protection.
7. Avoid sharp edges; use rubber or plastic grommets to protect wires routed through metal, especially the firewall.

Mounting

1. Determine speaker mounting location, ensuring sufficient space and a flat surface. Use extra caution on panels with urethane foam.
2. Refer to the specification chart for the proper hole diameter.
3. Mark screw locations and drill holes with a 1/8" bit.
4. Feed speaker wires through the cutout and connect to terminals, observing proper polarity (positive terminal indicated with "+").
5. Fit the speaker and mount using six (6) screws.
6. Tighten screws until the speaker is snug.

LED Connections

Two options are available for LED connections.

Wiring

Option 1: With LED Control Module (LED-BTC)

Connect as shown in the diagram:

Option 2: Without LED Control Module (LED-BTC)

Connect as shown in the following instructions:

1. Black wire "BK" connected to Battery Positive (+) 12V.
2. White Color Light "R", "B", and "G" connected to Battery Negative (-).
3. Green Color Light "G" connected to Battery Negative (-).
4. Red Color Light "R" connected to Battery Negative (-).
5. Blue Color Light "B" connected to Battery Negative (-).
6. Purple Color Light "R" and "B" connected to Battery Negative (-).
7. Yellow Color Light "R" and "G" connected to Battery Negative (-).
8. Cyan Color Light "B" and "G" connected to Battery Negative (-).
