This product is specifically designed to eliminate the manual hassle of dosing artificial calcium hydroxide into your aquarium. The OCTO KS-100 continuously adds calcium, preventing sudden dramatic changes in the aquarium's environment. It utilizes a slow-speed motor to rotate mixing blades, preventing stratification of contents. This allows dissolved calcium to be added automatically and progressively into your aquarium. For optimal performance, it is highly recommended to use this product with a timer, set to run for 5 minutes every 2 hours.

How to Use This System
- Ensure the system is placed in an upright and stable position.
- Connect the inlet and outlet tubes.
- Loosen the screws on the lid and remove the cover from the main body.
- Add approximately 90-120g of calcium hydroxide, then reverse step 3.
- Open the inlet valve and add water into the main body.
- Plug the transformer into a timer and set the timer to turn on for 5 minutes every 2 hours.
- Adjust the inlet valve to achieve an appropriate dosing rate suitable for your aquarium.
Maintenance
The motor is expected to run for 1500 hours. Please ensure that the system is operated as recommended to maximize its lifespan.
Safety
- Ensure the power transformer is plugged in at a location protected from moisture or water exposure.
- Always turn OFF the power supplies and unplug the unit from the wall socket before adding calcium hydroxide or performing maintenance.
- Handle the system with care, as it may break if dropped from a height.
