Smart Home Hub

The SONOFF iHost is a sleek, modern smart home hub with a rounded rectangular shape, tapering slightly towards the top. It features several small circular openings on the top surface, indicating LED indicators, and a vertical line detail on the front.

Button Operation Instructions

Button Instruction
Power button 1. Short press to power on, LED indicator lights up. 2. Press and hold for 3s to power off, LED indicator turns off.
Zigbee device pairing button Short press to enter Zigbee device pairing status, button indicator lights up and LED indicator breathes yellow. Note: In pairing status, short press again to exit pairing status, and the button indicator will turn off.
Security button 1. Short press to enter arm status, button indicator lights up. Press again to disarm, button indicator turns off. 2. When the speaker is sounding and the button indicator is flashing during arming or disarming, short press the button to silence and stop the LED indicator flashes. Note: Arm and Disarm can be set in the iHost console.
Reset button 1. Double press the reset button to enter password reset status (select 'Forgot Password' on the console login page to reset the password). 2. Press and hold for 10s to restore factory settings.

Features

iHost is a local smart home hub that controls devices in the centre admin console via LAN, enabling device adding, control, and smart scene setting without cloud connection. It allows for smart security setup or alarms for various smart scenes, and checking logs of devices or smart scenes.

Usage Instructions

1. Power On

Connect the Type-C power cable and network cable. You will hear a beep, and the LED indicator will show a solid blue light, indicating iHost is powered on and successfully connected to the network.

2. Log in to iHost Centre Admin Console

Enter the URL http://ihost.local/ in your PC browser. On the first login, you will need to set a password.

Note: iHost and the PC must be on the same local network (LAN).

If http://ihost.local/ is inaccessible, check the iHost's IP address by accessing your router's backend and enter the IP address in your browser.

The login screen prompts for Time Zone, Date & Time, Password, and Confirm Password. Options include 'Keep me logged in' and language selection (Simplified Chinese | English).

3. Add Device

3-1. Add Zigbee Device

Method 1: Via iHost Centre Admin Console
In the iHost console, click 'Add Zigbee Device'. The iHost LED indicator will flash yellow slowly. Set the Zigbee device to pairing mode (refer to its manual). Upon completion, the gateway will provide a voice prompt. The maximum limit is 128 Zigbee sub-devices.
Method 2: Via Local Button
Short press the 'Zigbee device pairing button' on the iHost. The LED indicator will flash yellow. Set the Zigbee device to pairing mode (refer to its manual). Upon completion, the gateway will provide a voice prompt. If the device cannot be added within 180 seconds, it will exit pairing mode.

3-2. Add Camera

The iHost interface offers options to 'Auto Search' for ONVIF cameras, 'Add Manually' for RTSP cameras, or 'DIY ESP32-CAM'. Supported cameras: ONVIF cameras, RTSP cameras, ESP32-CAM. Note: Currently, viewing the same camera on multiple devices simultaneously is supported.
