Location of the remote controller.
Use the remote controller within a distance of 8 meters from the appliance, pointing it towards the receiver. Reception is confirmed by a beep.

CAUTIONS
The air conditioner will not operate if curtains, doors or other materials block the signals from the remote controller to the indoor unit. Prevent any liquid from falling into the remote controller. Do not expose the remote controller to direct sunlight or heat. If the infrared signal receiver on the indoor unit is exposed to direct sunlight, the air conditioner may not function properly. Use curtains to prevent the sunlight from falling on the receiver. If other electrical appliances react to the remote controller, either move these appliances or consult your local dealer.

Replacing batteries
.

The remote controller is powed by two dry batteries(R03/LR03X2) housed in the rear part and protected by a cover. (1) Remove the cover by pressing and sliding off. (2) Remove the old batteries and insert the new
batteries,placing the(+) and (-) ends correctly. (3) Reattach the cover by sliding it back into
position.
NOTE: When the batteries are removed, the remote controller erases all programming. After inserting new batteries, the remote controller must be reprogrammed.

CAUTIONS
Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of a different type. Do not leave the batteries in the remote controller if it is not going to be used for 2 or 3 months. Dispose of the old batteries in the special containers to be found in the sales outlets.

3 ON/OFF Button Operation starts when this button is pressed and stops when the button is pressed again.

4 FAN SPEED Button Used to select the fan speed in four steps: Auto Low Med High

5 MODE Button

Each time the button is pressed, the operation

mode is selected i nthe sequenceof the following:

NOTE Please do not select HEAT mode if the machine you purchased is cooling only type. Heat mode is not supported by the cooling only appliance.

6 TIMER ON Button
Press this button to activate the Auto-on time setting. Each press will increase the time setting in 30 minutes increments, up to 10 hours, then at 1 hour increments up to 24 hours. To cancel the Auto-on time setting, just press the button until the time setting is 0.0.

7 SWING Button Used to stop or start louver movement and set the desired up/down airflow direction.

8 ECONOMY/SLEEP Button Select this function during the sleeping time. It can maintain the most comfortable temperature and save energy. This function is available on COOL, HEAT or AUTO mode only .
NOTE: While the unit is running under ECONOMY/
SLEEP mode, it would be cancelled if press MODE,
FAN SPEED or ON/OFF button.

10 TIMER OFF Button Press this button to activate the Auto-off time setting. Each press will increase the time setting in 30 minutes increments, up to 10 hours, then at 1 hour increments up to 24 hours. To cancel the Auto-off time setting, just press the button until the time setting is 0.0.
11 I SENSE Button Temperature sensing and room temperature display button.
12 LED Display Button Press this button to clear the display on the indoor unit, press it again to light the display.

Press together simultaneously
Press together the two buttons simultaneously (SHORT CUT & TIMER OFF buttons) for 5 seconds to lock the keyboard. Press together the two buttons again for 2 seconds to unlock the keyboard.

How to use the buttons

Auto operation

Ensure the unit is plugged in and power is

available. The OPERATION indicator on the

display panel of the indoor unit illuminates.

1. Press the MODE button to select Auto.

2. Press the TEMP button to set the desired

temperature. The temperature can be set

within a range of 17 C(62 F)~ 30 C in 1 C(2 F)

increments. 3. Press the ON/OFFbutton to start the air

conditioner.

NOTE

1. In the Auto mode, the air conditioner can logically

choose the mode of Cooling, Fan, Heating and

Dehumidifying by sensing the difference between the

actual ambient room temperature and the set temper-

ature on the remote controller.

2. In the Auto mode, you can not switch the fan speed.

It has already been automatically controlled.

3. If the Auto mode is not comfortable for you , the

desired mode can be selected manually.

Cooling /Heating/Fan operation

Ensure the unit is plugged in and power is

available.

1. Press the MODE button to select COOL, HEAT,

(cooling & heating models only) or FAN mode.

2. Press the TEMP button to set the desired

temperature. The temperature can be set

within a range of 17 C(62 F)~ 30 C in 1 C(2 F)

increments.

3. Press the FAN SPEED button to select the

fan speed in four steps- Auto, Low, Med,or High.

4. Press the ON/OFF button to start the air

conditioner.

NOTE
In the FAN mode, the setting temperature is not

displayed in the remote controller and you are not

able to control the room temperature either. In this case, only step 1, 3 and 4 may be performed.

Dehumidifying operation

Ensure the unit is plugged in and power is

available. The OPERATION indicator on the

display panel of the indoor unit illuminates.

1. Press the MODE button to select DRY mode.

2. Press the TEMP button to set the desired

temperature. The temperature can be set

within a range of 17 C(62 F)~ 30 C in 1 C(2 F)

increments.

3. Press the ON/OFF button to start the air

conditioner.

NOTE

In the Dehumidifying mode, you can not switch the fan speed. It has already been automatically controlled.

Swing operation
Use the SWING button to adjust the Up/Down airflow direction. 1. When press the button once and quickly, the
air flow direction setting feature of the louver is activated. The moving angle of the louver is 6o for each press. Keep pressing the button to move the louver to the desired position. 2. If keep pressing the SWING button without releasing for 2 more seconds, the auto swing feature of the louver is activated. The horizontal louver would swing up/down automatically. Press it again to stop. NOTE: When the louver swing or move to a
position which would affect the cooling and heating effect of the air conditioner, it would automatically change the swing/ moving direction.

Timer operation

press the TIMER ON button can set the auto-on time of the unit. And press the TIMER OFF button can set the auto-off time of the unit.

To set the Auto-on time. 1. Press the TIMER ON button. The remote

controller shows TIMER ON, the last Auto-on

setting time and the signal "h" will be shown on

the LCD display area. Now it is ready to reset the

2. Push the TIMER ON button again to set desired

Auto-on time. Each time you press the buttons,

the time increases in 30 minutes increments, up

to 10 hours, then at 1 hour increments up to 24

hours.

3. After setting the TIMER ON ,there will be a one

second delay before the remote controller

transmits the signal to the air conditioner. Then,

after approximately another 2 seconds, the

signal "h" will disappear and the set temperature

will re-appear on the LCD display window.

To set the Auto-off time.
1. Press the TIMER OFF button. The remote controller shows TIMER OFF, the last Auto-off setting time and the signal "h" will be shown on the LCD display area. Now it is ready to reset the Auto-off time to START the operation.
2. Push the TIMER OFF button again to set desired Auto-off time. Each time you press the TEMP. UP or TEMP. DOWN buttons the time increases in 30 minutes increments, upto 10 hours, then at 1 hour increments up to 24 hours.
3. After setting the TIMER OFF ,there will be a one second delay before the remote controller transmits the signal to the air conditioner. Then, after approximately another 2 seconds, the signal "h" will disappear and the set temperature will re-appear on the LCD display window.

Note: Cancel either function by setting its timer to 0.0h.

IMPORTANT
The effective operation time set by the remote controller for the timer function is limited to the following settings: 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15,16,17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24.

TIMER ON (Auto-on Operation) The TIMER ON feature is useful when you want the unit to turn on automatically before you return home. The air conditioner will automatically start operating at the set time.
Example: To start the air conditioner in 6 hours. 1. Press the TIMER ON button, the last setting of
starting operation time and the signal "h" will show on the display area. 2. Press the TIMER ON button to display "6:0h" on the TIMER ON display of the remote controller. 3. Wait for about 3 seconds and the digital display area will show the temperature again. Now this function is activated.

(Auto-off Operation) The TIMER OFF feature is useful when you want the unit to turn off automatically after you go to bed. The air conditioner will stop automatically at the set time.
Example: To stop the air conditioner in 10 hours. 1. Press the TIMER OFF button, the last setting of
stopping operation time and the signal "h" will show on the display area. 2. Press the TIMER OFF button to display "10h" on the TIMER OFF display of the remote controller. 3. Wait for about 3 seconds and the digital display area will show the temperature again. Now this function is activated.

Example: To stop the air conditioner 2 hours after setting and start it again 10 hours after setting. 1. Press the TIMER OFF button. 2. Press the TIMER OFF button again to
display 2.0h on the TIMER OFF display. 3. Press the TIMER ON button. 4. Press the TIMER ON button again to
display 10h on the TIMER ON display . 5. Wait for the remote control to display
the setting temperature.

TIMER ON TIMER OFF (Off Start Stop operation) This feature is useful when you want to start the air conditioner before you wake up and stop it after you leave the house. Example: To start the air conditioner 2 hours after setting, and stop it 5 hours after setting. 1. Press the TIMER ON button. 2. Press the TIMER ON button again to
display 2.0h on the TIMER ON display. 3. Press the TIMER OFF button. 4. Press the TIMER OFF button again to
display 5.0h on the TIMER OFF display . 5. Wait for the remote control to display
the setting temperature.
! CAUTION
The timer setting(TIMER ON or TIMER OFF) that in sequence occurs directly after the set time will be activated first.
ECONOMY(SLEEP) operation
When you press the ECONOMY button, the economic running function will be activated, the set temperature will increase(cooling) or decrease(heating) by 1oC(2oF) over the next 30 minutes and by another 1oC(2oF) after an additional 30 minutes.This new temperature will be maintained for 7 hours before it returns to the originally selected temperature.(NOTE: On some models, the set temperature will increase (cooling) or decrease(heating) by 1oC(2oF) per hour for 2 hours. This new temperature will be maintained for 5 hours , then the unit is off.) NOTE: The ECONOMY/SLEEP function is only
available under Cooling, Heating and AUTO operation.

I SENSE operation: The I SENSE operation enables the remote control to measure the temperature at its current location and send this signal to the air conditioner every 3 minutes interval.

NOTE: Press this button for seven seconds to start/

stop memory feature of I SENSE function.

If the memory feature is activated, "ON" will display for

3 seconds on the screen.

If the memory feature is stopped, "OF" will display for 3

While the memory feature is activated, press the ON/

OFF button, shift the mode or power failure will not

cancel the I SENSE function.

SHORT CUT operation: This button is used to restore the current settings or resume previous settings.

Push this button when remote controller is on, and the system will automatically revert back to the previous settings including operating mode, setting temperature, fan speed level and sleep feature (if activated). If pushing more than 2 seconds, the system will automatically restore the current operation settings including operating mode, setting temperature, fan speed level and sleep feature (if activated).

NOTE: -Buttons design is based on typical model and might be slightly different from the actual one you purchased, the actual shape shall prevail. -All the functions described are accomplished by the unit, if the unit has no this feature, there is no corresponding operation happened when press the relative button on the remote controller. -When there are wide differences between Remote controller Illustration and USERS MANUAL on function description, the description on USERS MANUAL shall prevail. -The device could comply with the local national regulations. In Canada, it should comply with CAN ICES-3(B)/NMB-3(B). In USA, this device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Înlocuirea bateriilor
.

Telecomanda func ioneaz cu dou baterii uscate (R03/ LR03 x 2) localizate în partea de spate i protejate de un capac. (1) Înltura i capacul prin apsare i glisare. (2) Îndeprta i bateriile vechi i insera i noile baterii punând capetele cu plus (+) i minus (-) corect. (3) Pune i la loc capacul prin glisare în pozi ia corect.
NOT: Atunci când bateriile sunt îndeprtate, telecomanda terge toate programrile. Dup inserarea noilor baterii telecomanda trebuie reprogramat.

ATEN IE · Nu amesteca i bateriile vechi cu cele noi sau bateriile de diferite feluri. · Nu l sa i bateriile în telecomand dac nu urmeaz a fi utilizate pentru 2 sau 3 luni. · Nu arunca i bateriile ca i gunoi menajer. Colectarea unor astfel de de euri se face separat deoarece
este necesar aplicarea unui tratament special.

6 ) Butonul PORNIRE TEMPORIZATOR (TIMER ON) Ap sa i acest buton pentru a ini ia secven a automat de temporizare pornire. Fiecare ap sare va cre te setarea timpului automat cu intervale de 30 de minute pân la 10 ore, dup care la intervale de 1 or pân la 24 ore. Pentru a anula programul de temporizare pornire automat , ap sa i butonul pân la setarea timpului la 0.0.
7) Butonul OSCILARE (SWING) Utilizat pentru a opri sau porni oscilarea flapsului i pentru a seta direc ia dorit a fluxului de aer (sus/jos).
8) Butonul de ECONOMIE (SLEEP) Alege func ia în modulul în a teptare. Poate p stra temperatura confortabil i economisi energie. Aceast func ie este disponibil doar pentru modulele R CIRE, ÎNC LZIRE i AUTOMAT.

Modul de utilizare al butoanelor Func ionarea automat

Asigura i-v c aparatul este b gat în priz i alimentat cu

energie. Indicatorul de FUNC IONARE de pe panoul de afi aj

al unit ii interioare începe s se aprind intermitent.

1.Ap sa i butonul MODE pentru a selecta Auto.

2.Ap sa i butonul TEMP pentru a seta temperatura dorit .

Temperatura poate fi setat în intervalul de 17°C (62°F) ~

30°C (88°F) în intervale de 1°C (2°F).

3. Ap sa i butonul pornire / oprire (ON/OFF) pentru a începe

Func ionarea oscil rii
Utiliza i butonul OSCILARE (SWING) pentru a ajusta direc ia dorit a fluxului de aer. 1. La ap sarea o dat i rapid a butonului, func ia de setare a direc iei fluxului de aer a flapsului este activat . Unghiul de mi care este de 6° la fiecare ap sare. Continua i s ap sa i butonul pentru a mi ca flapsul în pozi ia dorit .
2. Dac continua i ap sarea butonului OSCILARE f r s îi da i drumul timp de 2 secunde sau mai mult, func ia de oscilare automat este activat . Flapsul orizontale va oscila sus/ jos în mod automat. Ap sa i din nou pentru a-l opri. NOT : Atunci când oscilarea sau mi carea flapsurilor într-o anumit pozi ie afecteaz efectul de r cire sau înc lzire al aparatului de aer condi ionat, acesta î i va schimba automat direc ia de oscilare / mi care.

Func ionarea temporizatorului

Ap sa i butonul pornire temporizator (TIMER ON) pentru a seta timpul automat de pornire a aparatului. Ap sa i butonul oprire temporizator (TIMER OFF) pentru a seta timpul automat de oprire a aparatului.

Pentru a seta pornirea automat a temporizatorului

1. Ap sa i butonul de pornire temporizator (TIMER ON).

Telecomanda arat temporizator oprit, ultima setare de timp automat de oprire iar semnul ,,h" va ap rea pe ecranul LCD. Acum este gata pentru resetarea timpului automat de oprire pentru a opri func ionarea. 2. Ap sa i din nou butonul de oprire temporizator (TIMER OFF) pentru a seta timpul automat de oprire. De fiecare dat când ap sa i butoanele TEMP UP sau TEMP DOWN timpul cre te cu 30 minute pân la 10 ore, apoi cu intervale de 1 or pân la 24 ore. 3. Dup setarea opririi temporizatorului, va exista o secund de întârziere înainte ca telecomanda s transmit semnalul c tre aparatul de aer condi ionat. Apoi, dup aproximativ alte 2 secunde, semnul ,,h" va disp rea i temperatura setat va reap rea pe ecranul LCD.
Nota: Anulati oricare dintre functii setand temporizatorul la 0,0 h.

Exemple de setare temporizator PORNIRE TEMPORIZATOR (TIMER ON) (Func ionare automat pornit ) Func ia PORNIRE TEMPORIZATOR (TIMER ON) este util atunci când dori i ca aparatul s porneasc automat înainte s v întoarce i acas . Aparatul de aer condi ionat va porni automat la ora setat .
Exemplu: Pentru pornirea aparatului de aer condi ionat peste 6 ore. 1.Ap sa i butonul pornire temporizator (TIMER ON), ultima setare a opera iunii de pornire a timpului i semnalul ,,h" vor 2.ap rea pe ecran. Ap sa i din nou butonul pornire temporizator pentru a afi a ,,6.0 h" pe afi ajul telecomenzii în dreptul func iei de pornire 3. temporizator. A tepta i 3 secunde i ecranul digital de afi aj va ar ta din nou temperatura. Acum aceast func ie este activat .

OPRIRE TEMPORIZATOR (TIMER OFF) (Func ionare automat oprit ) Func ia OPRIRE TEMPORIZATOR (TIMER OFF) este util atunci când dori i ca aparatul s se opreasc automat dup ce merge i la culcare. Aparatul de aer condi ionat se va opri automat la ora setat .
Exemplu: Pentru a opri aparatul de aer condi ionat peste 10 ore. 1. Ap sa i butonul oprire temporizator (TIMER OFF), ultima setare a opera iunii de oprire a timpului i semnalul ,,h" vor ap rea pe ecran. 2. Ap sa i din nou butonul oprire temporizator pentru a afi a ,,10 h" pe afi ajul telecomenzii în dreptul func iei de oprire temporizator. 3. A tepta i 3 secunde i zona digital de afi aj va ar ta din nou temperatura. Acum aceast func ie este activat .
TEMPORIZARE COMBINAT (Setarea simultan a temporizatorilor PORNIRE i OPRIRE (ON i OFF)) TEMPORIZATOR OPRIRE TEMPORIZATOR PORNIRE (TIMER OFF - TIMER ON) (Pornire - Oprire - Începere func ionare) Aceast func ie este util atunci când dori i s opri i aparatul de aer condi ionat dup ce merge i la culcare, i s îl porni i din nou diminea a când v trezi i sau când v întoarce i acas .

Func ionarea în modulul ECONOMIE (SLEEP)

La apasarea butonului ECONOMY, modul de functionare

economic va fi activat iar temperatura setata va creste (pentru

racire), sau va scadea (la Incalzire), cu 1 grad Celsius (2 grade

Fahrenheit), in urmatoarele 30 de minute si cu inca 1 grad

Celsius (2 grade Fahrenheit), dupa alte 30 de minute. Aceasta

noua temperatura va fi mentinuta pentru 7 ore, la finalul celor 7

ore unitatea revenind la temperatura initiala. (NOTA: la anumite

unitati, temperatura va creste (racire) sau va scadea (incalzire)

cu 1 grad Celsius (2 grade Fahrenheit), la fiecare 2 ore iar noua

temperatura va fi mentinuta pentru o perioada de 5 ore, urmand

ca dupa cele 5 ore, unitatea sa se opreasca).

I SENSE

NOTA: Functia ECONOMY/SLEEP este valabila doar in modurile de functionare COOL, HEAT si AUTO.

I SENSE operatiunea: Funcionarea I SENSE permite telecomenzii sa masoare temperatura in locatia sa actuala si sa trimita acest semnal catre aparatul de aer conditionat la interval de 3 minute.

NOTA: Apasati acest buton timp de sapte secunde

pentru a porni/opri functia de memorie a funciei I

SENSE.

Daca functia de memorie este activata, ,,ON" va apar-

ea timp de 3 secunde pe ecran.

In timp ce funcia de memorie este activata, apasati

butonul ON/OFF, schimbati modul sau caderea de

curent nu va anula functia I SENSE.

Functionarea SHORT CUT: Acest buton este folosit pentru a restabili setarile curente sau pentru a relua setarile anterioare.
Apasati acest buton cand telecomanda este pornita, iar sistemul va reveni automat la setarile anterioare, inclusiv modul de funcionare, setarea temperaturii, nivelul vitezei ventilatorului si functia de somn (daca este activata). Daca apasati mai mult de 2 secunde, sistemul va restabili automat funcionarea curenta setari, inclusiv modul de funcionare, setarea temperaturii, nivelul vitezei ventilatorului si functia de somn (daca este activat).

NOT :
Proiectarea butoanelor este bazat pe modelul tipic i poate fi u or diferit de cea a butoanelor aparatului dvs. forma real va fi cea care va prevala. Das Klimagerät funktioniert nicht, wenn Vorhänge, Türen oder andere Materialien die Signale von der Fernbedienung zum Innengerät blockieren. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Flüssigkeit in die Fernbedienung eindringt. Setzen Sie die Fernbedienung nicht direktem Sonnenlicht oder Hitze aus. Wenn der Infrarotempfänger des InnengerätEs direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt ist, funktioniert das Klimagerät möglicherweise nicht richtig. Verwenden Sie Vorhänge, um zu verhindern, dass das Sonnenlicht auf den Empfänger fällt. Batterien austauschen

Die Fernbedienung wird von zwei Trockenbatterien (R03/

Schwenkbetrieb
Verwenden Sie die SWING-Taste, um die Luftstromrichtung nach oben/unten einzustellen. 1. Wenn Sie die Taste einmal schnell drücken, wird
die Funktion zur Einstellung der Luftstromrichtung der Lamelle aktiviert. Der Bewegungswinkel der Lamelle beträgt bei jedem Druck 6°. Halten Sie die Taste gedrückt, um die Lamelle in die gewünschte Position zu bringen. 2. Wenn Sie die SWING-Taste noch 2 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten, ohne sie loszulassen, wird die automatische Schwenkfunktion der Lamelle aktiviert. 1. Drücken Sie die Taste TIMER ON. Die Fernbedienung

zeigt TIMER ON, die letzte Einschaltzeit und

das Signal "h" werden auf dem LCD-Bildschirm

angezeigt. Jetzt kann die automatische Einschaltzeit

Positionnement du système de télécommande
· Utilisez la télécommande à une distance maximale de 8 mètres de l'appareil, en pointant vers le récepteur. Un signal acoustique confirme la réception du signal.

! AVERTISSEMENTS
Le climatiseur ne fonctionnera pas si des rideaux, des portes ou d'autres objets obstruent le signal de la télécommande vers l'unité intérieure. Ne faites pas tomber de liquide sur la télécommande. N'exposez pas la télécommande à la lumière directe du soleil ou à des sources de chaleur. L'exposition du récepteur infrarouge à la lumière directe du soleil peut entraîner un dysfonctionnement du climatiseur. Utilisez un rideau pour empêcher la lumière du soleil d'atteindre le récepteur. Si d'autres appareils électriques sont sensibles à la télécommande, déplacez-les ou contactez votre centre de service local.

Changement des piles

La télécommande est alimentée par deux piles sèches (R03/ LR03x2) situées dans le compartiment à piles à l'arrière de la télécommande, protégé par un couvercle. (1) Retirez le couvercle en appuyant dessus et en le faisant
glisser. (2) Retirez les piles vides et insérez des piles neuves, en
respectant les pôles positif (+) et négatif (-). (3) Remettez le couvercle en place en le faisant glisser.

REMARQUE: Le retrait des piles efface toute la

programmation de la télécommande. Une fois les nouvelles

piles insérées, la télécommande doit être reprogrammée.

Auto operation

Assurez-vous que l'appareil est branché à une prise

électrique et qu'il y a du courant. Le voyant de

fonctionnement sur l'écran de l'unité intérieure commence

à clignoter.

1. Appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour sélectionner Auto.

2. Appuyez sur le bouton TEMP pour régler la température

souhaitée. La température peut être réglée dans la plage

de 17°C (62ºF) ~ 30°C (59ºF) avec un incrément de 1°C

(2ºF) chaque fois que vous appuyez sur le bouton.

3. Appuyez sur le bouton ON/OFF pour démarrer le

climatiseur.

NOTE:

1. En mode AUTO, le climatiseur peut passer automatiquement

des modes Refroidissement, Ventilation et Chauffage en

détectant la différence entre la température réelle de la pièce

et la température réglée sur la télécommande.

2. En mode AUTO, il n'est pas possible de modifier la vitesse du

ventilateur, car celui-ci se règle automatiquement.

3. Si le mode AUTO n'offre pas le confort souhaité, vous pouvez

sélectionner manuellement le mode souhaité.

Si le mode AUTO ne fournit pas le confort souhaité, le mode

désiré peut être sélectionné manuellement.

Fonctionnement en mode Refroidissement (COOL)/Mode Chauffage (HEAT)/Mode Ventilation

Assurez-vous que l'appareil est branché sur une prise

NOTE:

En mode FAN, la température réglée n'apparaît pas sur la

télécommande et la température ambiante ne peut pas être

réglée. Dans ce cas, seules les étapes 1, 3 et 4 peuvent être

Fonctionnement en mode

déshumidification (DRY)

Assurez-vous que l'appareil est connecté à une

prise électrique et qu'il y a du courant. Le voyant

1. Appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour sélectionner Dry

(sec).

2. Appuyez sur le bouton TEMP pour régler la

température souhaitée. La température peut être

réglée entre 17°C~30°C avec un incrément de 1°C

chaque fois que vous appuyez sur le bouton.

3. Appuyez sur le bouton ON/OFF pour démarrer le

climatiseur.

NOTE:

En mode DRY, il n'est pas possible de modifier la vitesse du ventilateur, car celle-ci est réglée automatiquement.

Réglage de la direction du flux d'air
Utilisez le bouton SWING pour régler la direction du flux d'air souhaité vers le haut et vers le bas. 1. En appuyant une fois sur le bouton, vous activez
rapidement la fonction de réglage de la direction du flux d'air du volet. L'angle de mouvement de l'obturateur est de 6° par pression. Appuyez sur le bouton et maintenez-le enfoncé pour déplacer l'optique à la position souhaitée. 2. Si vous appuyez sur la touche SWING pendant 2 secondes supplémentaires, la fonction de balancement automatique de la grille est activée. La grille horizontale se balancera automatiquement de haut en bas. Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton pour l'arrêter. NOTE: Lorsque le volet se balance ou se déplace vers une position qui interfère avec l'effet de refroidissement ou de chauffage du climatiseur, la direction du balancement ou du mouvement sera automatiquement modifiée.

Fonctionnement en mode TIMER

Appuyez sur le bouton TIMER ON pour régler l'heure

de démarrage automatique de l'appareil. Appuyez sur

la touche TIMER OFF pour régler le délai d'extinction

automatique de l'appareil.

Réglage de l'heure de démarrage automatique

1. Appuyez sur le bouton TIMER ON. TIMER ON,

la dernière heure de démarrage automatique

la télécommande. apparaît sur l'écran LCD de la

télécommande. Vous pouvez maintenant définir la

régler le temps d'arrêt souhaité. Chaque pression

sur le bouton retarde l'heure de 30 minutes entre

l'heure 0 et l'heure 10 et d'une heure entre l'heure

10 et l'heure 24.

3. Après avoir réglé la fonction TIMER OFF, il y a un

délai d'une seconde avant que la télécommande ne

transmette le signal au climatiseur. Ensuite, après

environ 2 secondes, l'icône "H" disparaît de l'écran

LCD et la température réglée réapparaît.

Remarque: Annulez l'une ou l'autre des fonctions en réglant la minuterie sur 0.0h.

Fonction ECONOMY(SLEEP)
Lorsque vous appuyez sur le bouton SLEEP, la fonction de mode économique est activée et la température réglée augmente (mode COOL) ou diminue (mode HEAT) de 1ºC (2ºF) pendant les 30 minutes suivantes et de 1ºC (2ºF) après 30 autres minutes. Cette nouvelle température sera maintenue pendant 7 heures avant de revenir à la température initialement sélectionnée. (REMARQUE : sur certains modèles, la température réglée augmente (mode COOL) ou diminue (mode HEAT) de 1ºC (2ºF) par heure pendant 2 heures. La fonction I SENSE permet à la télécommande de mesurer la température à l'endroit où elle se trouve et d'envoyer ce signal au climatiseur toutes les 3 minutes.

Posizionamento del sistema di controllo a distanza
· Utilizzare il telecomando ad una distanza massima di 8 metri dall'apparecchio, puntando verso il ricevitore. Un segnale acustico confermerà la ricezione del segnale.

! AVVERTENZE
Il condizionatore non entra in funzione nel caso in cui tende, porte o altri oggetti ostacolino il segnale dal telecomando all'unità interna. Non far cadere sostanze liquide sul telecomando. Non esporre il telecomando a luce solare diretta o a fonti di calore. Un'esposizione del ricevitore a raggi infrarossi alla luce solare diretta può causare un funzionamento difettoso del condizionatore d'aria. Utilizzare una tenda per evitare che la luce solare raggiunga il ricevitore. Nel caso in cui altre apparecchiature elettriche siano sensibili al telecomando, spostare le apparecchiature o rivolgersi al servizio assistenza locale.

Sostituzione delle batterie

Il telecomando è alimentato da due batterie a secco (R03/

LR03x2) collocate nell'apposito vano nella parte posteriore

del telecomando protetto da un coperchio.

(1) Rimuovere il coperchio premendo e facendolo scorrere.

(2) Rimuovere le batterie scariche e inserire le batterie

nuove, facendo attenzione ai poli positivi (+) e negativi

(-).

(3) Rimettere il coperchio facendolo scorrere nell'apposita

sede.

NOTA: La rimozione delle batterie provoca la cancellazione di tutta la programmazione del telecomando. Una volta inserite le batterie nuove, il telecomando deve essere riprogrammato.

! AVVERTENZE
Non utilizzare contemporaneamente batterie vecchie e nuove o batterie di diverso tipo nello stesso telecomando. Non lasciare le batterie nel telecomando nel caso in cui quest'ultimo non venga utilizzato per per un periodo di 2-3 mesi. Smaltire le vecchie batterie negli appositi contenitori che si trovano nei punti vendita.

Funzionamento in modalità Raffreddamento (COOL)/ Riscaldamento (HEAT)/Ventilazione (FAN)

Accertarsi che l'unità sia collegata ad una presa elettrica e che ci sia corrente.

1. Premere il tasto MODE per selezionare le modalità

di funzionamento COOL, HEAT (solo nei modelli

Raffreddamento e Riscaldamento) o FAN.

In modalità FAN, la temperatura impostata non appare

Funzionamento in modalità

Deumidificazione (DRY)

Accertarsi che l'unità sia collegata ad una presa

elettrica e che ci sia corrente. La spia di funzionamento

sul display dell'unità interna comincia a lampeggiare.

1. Premere il tasto MODE per selezionare Dry.

2. Premere il tasto TEMP per impostare la temperatura

desiderata. La temperatura può essere impostata

entro i 17°C~30°C con un incremento di 1°C ad ogni

pressione del tasto.

3. Premere il tasto ON/OFF per avviare il

condizionatore d'aria.

NOTA: In modalità DRY, non è possibile cambiare la velocità della ventola, poiché questa è regolata automaticamente.

Regolazione della direzione del flusso d'aria
Utilizzare il tasto SWING per regolare la direzione dell'aria desiderata su e giù. 1. Premendo il pulsante una volta e rapidamente si
attiva la funzione di regolazione della direzione del flusso d'aria dell'ottica. L'angolo di movimento dell'otturatore è di 6° per pressa. Tenere premuto il pulsante per spostare l'ottica nella posizione desiderata 2. Se premuto il pulsante SWING per altri 2 secondi, si attiva la funzione di oscillazione automatica della griglia. La griglia orizzontale oscillerà automaticamente su e giù. Premi di nuovo il pulsante per fermarlo.
NOTA: Quando il deflettore oscilla o si muove in una posizione tale da interferire con l'effetto di raffreddamento o riscaldamento del condizionatore d'aria, la direzione dell'oscillazione o del movimento cambia automaticamente.

Funzionamento in modalità TIMER
Premere il tasto TIMER ON per impostare l'ora di avvio automatico dell'unità. Premere il tasto TIMER OFF per impostare l'ora di spegnimento automatico dell'unità.

Impostazione dell'ora di avvio automatico.

1. Premere il tasto TIMER ON. Sul display LCD del

telecomando appare TIMER ON, l'ultima ora di

avvio automatico impostata e l'icona "H". A questo

punto è possibile impostare la nuova ora di avvio

del funzionamento.

2. Premere nuovamente il tasto TIMER ON per

impostare l'ora di avvio desiderata. Ogni pressione

del tasto posticipa l'orario di 30 minuti tra l'ora 0 e

l'ora 10 e di un'ora tra l'ora 10 e l'ora 24.

3. Dopo aver impostato la funzione TIMER ON, si

verifica un ritardo di un secondo prima che il

telecomando trasmetta il segnale al condizionatore

d'aria. Quindi, trascorsi altri 2 secondi circa, l'icona

"H" scompare dal display LCD e ricompare la

temperatura impostata.

Impostazione dell'ora di spegnimento automatico. 1. Premere il tasto TIMER OFF. Sul display LCD del
telecomando appare TIMER OFF, l'ultima ora di spegnimento automatico impostata e l'icona "H". A questo punto è possibile impostare la nuova ora di interruzione del funzionamento. 2. Premere nuovamente il tasto TIMER OFF per impostare l'ora di spegnimento desiderata. Ogni pressione del tasto posticipa l'orario di 30 minuti tra l'ora 0 e l'ora 10 e di un'ora tra l'ora 10 e l'ora 24. 3. Dopo aver impostato la funzione TIMER OFF, si verificaun ritardo di un secondo prima che il telecomando trasmetta il segnale al condizionatore d'aria. Quindi,trascorsi altri 2 secondi circa, l'icona "H" scompare dal display LCD e ricompare la temperatura impostata.

Nota: Annullare una delle due funzioni impostando il timer su 0.0h.

IMPORTANTE L'impostazione dell'ora che è effettivamente possibile impostare con il telecomando mediante la funzione timer del telecomando si limita alle seguenti opzioni: 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15,16,17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24.

Funzione ECONOMY(SLEEP)
Quando si preme il pulsante SLEEP, si attiva la funzione di modalità economica e la temperatura impostata aumenta (modalità COOL) o diminuisce (modalità HEAT) di 1ºC (2ºF) per i prossimi 30 minuti e di un altro 1ºC (2ºF) dopo altri 30 minuti. Questa nuova temperatura sarà mantenuta per 7 ore prima di tornare alla temperatura originariamente selezionata. (NOTA: Su alcuni modelli, la temperatura impostata aumenterà (modalità COOL) o diminuirà (modalità HEAT) di 1ºC (2ºF) all'ora per 2 ore. Questa nuova temperatura sarà mantenuta per 5 ore, e poi l'unità si spegnerà). NOTA: La funzione SLEEP è disponibile solo nella modalità di funzionamento di Raffreddamento, Riscaldamento e Auto.

Funzione I SENSE
La funzione I SENSE permette al telecomando di misurare la temperatura nella sua posizione attuale e di inviare questo segnale al condizionatore ogni 3 minuti.

NOTA: Premere questo pulsante per sette secondi

per avviare/arrestare la funzione di memoria della

funzione I SENSE.

Se la funzione di memoria è attivata, "ON" apparirà

per 3 secondi sul display.

Se la funzione di memoria si ferma, "OF" apparirà sul

Mentre la funzione di memoria è attivata, premendo

il pulsante ON/OFF, cambiando la modalità o

un'interruzione dell'alimentazione non annullerà la

Funzione SHORT CUT:
Questo pulsante è usato per ripristinare l'impostazione corrente o riprendere l'impostazione precedente. Premere questo pulsante quando il telecomando è acceso, e il sistema tornerà automaticamente alle impostazioni precedenti, compresa la modalità di funzionamento, la temperatura impostata, il livello di velocità del ventilatore e la funzione sleep (se abilitata). Se viene premuto per più di 2 secondi, il sistema ripristina automaticamente le impostazioni di funzionamento correnti, compresa la modalità di funzionamento, la temperatura impostata, il livello di velocità del ventilatore e la funzione di sospensione (se abilitata).

Ubicación del mando a distancia
· Utilice el mando a distancia a una distancia de 8 metros del aparato, apuntando hacia el receptor. La recepción se confirma con un pitido.

! PRECAUCIONES
El aire acondicionado no funcionará si las cortinas, puertas u otros materiales bloquean las señales del mando a distancia a la unidad principal. Evite que cualquier líquido caiga en el mando a distancia. No exponga el mando a distancia a la luz solar directa o al calor. Si el receptor de señal de infrarrojos de la unidad principal está expuesto a la luz solar directa, el aire acondicionado puede que no funcione correctamente. Utilice cortinas para evitar que la luz del sol caiga sobre el receptor. Si otros aparatos eléctricos responden al mando a distancia, mueva estos aparatos o consulte con su distribuidor local.

El mando a distancia se alimenta de dos pilas (R03/LR03X2) ubicadas en la parte trasera y protegidas por una tapa. (1) Retire la tapa presionando y deslizándola. (2) Retire las pilas viejas e introduzca las nuevas, colocando
correctamente los extremos (+) y (-). (3) Vuelva a colocar la tapa deslizándola en su posición.

NOTA: Cuando se retiran las pilas, se borra toda la

programación del mando a distancia. Después de insertar nuevas pilas, el mando a distancia debe

ser reprogramado.

! PRECAUCIONES
No mezcle pilas viejas y nuevas o de distinto tipo. No deje las pilas en el mando a distancia si no va a utilizarlo durante 2 o 3 meses. Deseche las pilas viejas en los contenedores especiales que encontrará en los puntos de venta.

Asegúrese de que la unidad está enchufada y hay energía disponible. El indicador de funcionamiento en el panel de la pantalla de la unidad principal se ilumina. 1. Pulse el botón MODE para seleccionar Auto. 2. Pulse el botón TEMP para ajustar la temperatura
deseada. La temperatura se puede ajustar dentro de un rango de 17ºC (62ºF)~ 30ºC en incrementos de 1ºC (2ºF). 3. Pulse el botón ON/OFF para encender el aire acondicionado.
NOTA 1. En el modo Auto, el aire acondicionado puede elegir
el modo de refrigeración, ventilador, calefacción y deshumidificación detectando la diferencia entre la temperatura ambiente real de la habitación y la temperatura establecida en el mando a distancia. 2. En el modo Auto, no se puede cambiar la velocidad del ventilador. Esta se ajusta automáticamente. 3. Si el modo automático no le resulta útil, puede seleccionar el modo deseado manualmente.

Funcionamiento en Frío/Calor/Ventilador

Asegúrese de que la unidad está enchufada y hay energía disponible. 1. Pulse el botón MODE para seleccionar Cool, Heat (no
disponible en todos los modelos), o Fan 2. Pulse el botón TEMP para ajustar la temperatura
deseada. La temperatura se puede ajustar dentro de un

rango de 17ºC (62ºF)~ 30ºC en incrementos de 1ºC (2ºF).

Funcionamiento en Seco

Asegúrese de que la unidad está enchufada y hay

energía disponible. El indicador de funcionamiento en

el panel de la pantalla de la unidad principal se ilumina

1. Pulse el botón MODE para seleccionar Dry.

2. Pulse el botón TEMP para ajustar la temperatura

deseada. La temperatura se puede ajustar dentro

de un rango de 17ºC (62ºF)~ 30ºC en incrementos de

1ºC (2ºF).

3. Pulse el botón ON/OFF para encender el aire

acondicionado.

NOTA En el modo Seco, no se puede cambiar la velocidad del ventilador. Se ajusta automáticamente.

Oscilación
Utilice el botón SWING para ajustar la dirección del flujo de aire hacia arriba/abajo. 1. Al pulsar el botón una vez y rápidamente, se activa
la función de ajuste de la dirección del flujo de aire de la rejilla. El ángulo de movimiento de la rejilla es de 6º por pulsación. Mantenga pulsado el botón para mover la rejilla a la posición deseada. 2. Si mantiene pulsado el botón SWING sin soltarlo durante 2 segundos más, se activa la función de oscilación automática de la rejilla. La rejilla horizontal oscilará automáticamente hacia arriba y hacia abajo. Pulse de nuevo el botón para detenerla.
NOTA: Cuando la rejilla oscila o se mueve a una posición que afectaría al efecto de refrigeración y calefacción del aire acondicionado, cambiará automáticamente la dirección de oscilación/ movimiento.

Temporizador
Pulse el botón TIMER ON para ajustar la hora de encendido automático de la unidad. Pulsando el botón TIMER OFF se puede ajustar el tiempo de apagado automático de la unidad.

Para ajustar la hora de encendido automático.

1. Pulse el botón TIMER ON. El mando a distancia

muestra TIMER ON, la última hora de encendido

automático y la señal "h" en la pantalla LCD. Ahora

está listo para reajustar el tiempo de autoencendido

y comenzar la operación.

2. Vuelva a pulsar el botón TIMER ON para ajustar el

I SENSE

tiempo de encendido automático deseado. Cada

vez que pulsa los botones, el tiempo aumenta en

incrementos de 30 minutos hasta 10 horas, y luego

en incrementos de 1 hora hasta 24 horas.

3. Después de ajustar el TIMER ON, habrá un retraso

de un segundo antes de que el mando a distancia

transmita la señal al acondicionador de aire.

Después de aproximadamente otros 2 segundos,

la señal "h" desaparecerá y la temperatura ajustada

volverá a aparecer en la pantalla LCD.

Para ajustar la hora de apagado automático. 1. Pulse el botón TIMER OFF. El mando a distancia
muestra TIMER OFF, la última hora de apagado automático y la señal "h" en la pantalla LCD. Ahora está listo para reajustar el tiempo de autoapagado y comenzar la operación. 2. Vuelva a pulsar el botón TIMER OFF para ajustar el tiempo de apagado automático deseado. Cada vez que pulsa los botones, el tiempo aumenta en incrementos de 30 minutos hasta 10 horas, y luego en incrementos de 1 hora hasta 24 horas. 3. Después de ajustar el TIMER OFF, habrá un retraso de un segundo antes de que el mando a distancia transmita la señal al acondicionador de aire. Después de aproximadamente otros 2 segundos, la señal "h" desaparecerá y la temperatura ajustada volverá a aparecer en la pantalla LCD.

Nota: Cancele cualquiera de las dos funciones ajustando el temporizador a 0.0h.

IMPORTANTE El tiempo de funcionamiento efectivo fijado por el mando a distancia para la función de temporizador se limita a los siguientes ajustes: 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15,16,17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 y 24.

Ejemplo de ajuste del temporizador
TIMER ON (Operación de autoencendido) La función TIMER ON es útil cuando desea por ejemplo que la unidad se encienda automáticamente antes de volver a casa. El aire acondicionado empezará a funcionar automáticamente en la hora establecida.
Ejemplo: Para poner en marcha el aire acondicionado en 6 horas. 1. Pulse el botón TIMER ON; la última hora de
encendido automático y la señal "h" aparecerán en la pantalla. 2. Pulse el botón TIMER ON para que aparezca "6:0h" en la pantalla TIMER ON del mando a distancia. 3. Espere unos 3 segundos y la pantalla digital volverá a mostrar la temperatura. El autoencendido ahora está activado.

TIMER OFF (Operación de autoapagado) La función TIMER OFF es útil cuando quiere por ejemplo que la unidad se apague automáticamente después de ir a la cama. El aire acondicionado se apagará automáticamente en la hora establecida.

TIMER OFF TIMER ON (Encendido Detener Encender) Esta función es útil cuando quiere por ejemplo parar el aire acondicionado después de ir a la cama, y volver a ponerlo en marcha por la mañana cuando se despierte o cuando vuelva a casa.

TIMER ON TIMER OFF (Apagado Encender Detener funcionamiento) Esta función es útil cuando quiere por ejemplo poner en marcha el aire acondicionado antes de levantarse y pararlo después de salir de casa.
Ejemplo: Para poner en marcha el aire acondicionado 2 horas después del ajuste, y detenerlo 5 horas después del ajuste. 1. Pulse el botón TIMER ON. 2. Pulse de nuevo el botón TIMER ON para que
aparezca 2.0h en la pantalla TIMER ON. 3. Pulse el botón TIMER OFF. 4. Pulse de nuevo el botón TIMER OFF para que
aparezca 5.0h en la pantalla TIMER OFF. 5. Espere a que el mando a distancia muestre la
temperatura de ajuste.
! PRECAUCIÓN
El ajuste del temporizador (TIMER ON o TIMER OFF) que en secuencia ocurra directamente después de la hora establecida se activará primero.
Modo Sueño / Ahorro de Energía Al pulsar el botón SLEEP, la función del modo económico se activará y la temperatura ajustada aumentará (modo FRÍO) o disminuirá (modo CALOR) en 1ºC (2ºF) durante los siguientes 30 minutos y en otro 1ºC (2ºF) después de 30 minutos adicionales. Esta nueva temperatura se mantendrá durante 7 horas antes de volver a la temperatura originalmente seleccionada. (NOTA: En algunos modelos, la temperatura ajustada aumentará (modo FRÍO) o disminuirá (modo CALOR) en 1ºC (2ºF) por hora durante 2 horas. Esta nueva temperatura se mantendrá durante 5 horas, y luego la unidad se apagará). NOTA: La función Sueño/Ahorro de Energía sólo está disponible en los modos FRÍO, CALOR y AUTO.

Función I SENSE:
La función I SENSE permite al mando a distancia medir la temperatura en su ubicación actual y enviar esta señal al aire acondicionado de aire cada 3 minutos.

NOTA: Pulse este botón durante siete segundos para

iniciar/detener la función de memoria de la función I

SENSE.

Si la función de memoria está activada, aparecerá

"ON" durante 3 segundos en la pantalla.

Si la función de memoria se detiene, aparecerá "OFF"

durante 3 segundos en la pantalla.

Mientras la función de memoria esté activada, la
I SENSE
pulsación del botón ON/OFF, el cambio de modo o un

fallo de alimentación no cancelarán la función I SENSE.

Función SHORT CUT:
Este botón se utiliza para restaurar la configuración actual o reanudar la configuración anterior.

Pulse este botón cuando el mando a distancia esté encendido y el sistema volverá automáticamente a los ajustes anteriores, incluyendo el modo de funcionamiento, la temperatura de ajuste, el nivel de velocidad del ventilador y la función de sueño (si está activada). Si se pulsa durante más de 2 segundos, el sistema restablecerá automáticamente los ajustes de funcionamiento actuales, incluidos el modo de funcionamiento, la temperatura de ajuste, el nivel de velocidad del ventilador y la función de sueño (si está activada).
