FOR HOW YOU DRY, STRETCH & STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR
Great hair has no one type. We're here so that everyone, from 1a - 4c, can make every day a good hair day.

WASH

REV

LOVE!

Wash hair. Towel dry. Detangle strands.
RevAir works best on clean, toweldried hair.
Do not use oils or sticky fixatives prior to Reving.
Do not saturate hair with product or water to the point of dripping on or in the device.

Power-on the Base Unit and Wand. Be sure your preferred settings are set. See page 4.
Insert hair into the Wand, up to your scalp. Keep it at or near your scalp. No need to move up and down the hair section.
When dry, remove and repeat, section by section, until complete.

Style as desired.
Enjoy your freshly Rev'd hair.
Get on with your day. (And look fabulous while you do it.)

SETTING UP FOR SUCCESS
Follow these essential tips to achieve the best results.

SETTINGS
SLOW + LOW Begin by setting your ReverseAir Tension to Level 2 or lower.
Increase the speed level until you find your ideal tension.
Note // Should you experience even a tiny tangle, the tension setting should be lowered.
THE HEAT IS ON Set the Temperature Control on the Wand at Low ( I ). If you find you need additional heat, switch to the High ( II ) setting.
CAUTION // While RevAir uses nearly half the heat of blow dryers, do not use the High ( II ) temperature setting unless using a tension setting of Level 2 or higher.
II = High Temp O = No Heat | Cool Shot I = Low Temp

SECTIONING
SIZE MATTERS Begin with a 3-inch by 3-inch section at the scalp.
If your hair has a lot of volume, start slightly smaller, so you don't block airflow in the Wand.
ROOT AROUND When held to the scalp, the Wand should reach all roots by gently moving the Wand Mouth across the section.
No need to move the wand up and down the hair strands, keep it close to the roots.
GO WITH THE FLOW Should a section of hair be too large in volume, the Heat Chamber will shut down, indicating the section size should be reduced.
Simply remove the hair section and retry with less hair. The Heat Chamber will resume automatically.

SETTING UP FOR SUCCESS
Follow these essential tips to achieve the best results.

Note // The Wand includes an internal sensor to monitor heat levels minimizing heat exposure.

DRY TIME
FAST TRACK Drying times vary by hair type but commonly range from 30 to 90 seconds per section.
PASS THE TEST To assure a section is dry, pull the Wand a few inches from the scalp to feel for dampness.
If you still have a bit of dampness or texture, repeat until hair feels dry, noting the time it took to get it just right.
Note // The section times shown to the right are averages.
Individual hair characteristics such as volume, porosity, strand thickness, density, and overall health can affect your personal drying time.

COILY // KINKY
Avg Section Time: 60 - 90+ sec
CURLY
Avg Section Time: 60 - 90 sec
WAVY
Avg Section Time: 45 - 60 sec

STRAIGHT
Avg Section Time: 30 - 60 sec

ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE
If you want to work your style, you've got to keep your RevAir working in tip-top shape. That means you have to keep your Filter Basket clean.

CLEANING SIGNALS

Keep it clean. Washing your Filter regularly will ensure your RevAir will provide the best results. If you begin to experience any of the following, your Filter Basket is likely overdue for a cleaning:

1. Experiencing less tension (suction) on your usual setting.

2. The Wand Mouth feels hotter than usual.

3. Results are less sleek and silky
in texture and appearance.

4. The Wand heat begins to shut off during use.

CLEANING THE FILTER BASKET
Removing hair and dust from your Filter Basket is NOT enough. Empty and clean the filter after every 5 uses.
Empty any accumulated hair or debris from the Filter Basket. Rinse the Filter Basket under warm water. Scrub with a soft brush (toothbrush) and mild dish washing liquid.
Alternatively, with the open side up, run the Filter Basket through the wash cycle in the top rack of your dishwasher.
Note // For complete details on how to clean your filter as well as additional maintenance tips, please review your Operating Manual or our on-line FAQ section at myrevair.com
