Basic Functions

The device features a speaker on the left, an LED light at the top, a microphone at the top right, a screen in the center, a Nano SIM slot (KS4 only), an SOS button, Up/Down navigation buttons, and a Micro USB port at the bottom.

SIM Card Insertion and Mounting

SIM Card Insertion (KS4 only)

1. Remove the two fixing screws from the SIM card cover using the provided tool.
2. Insert the SIM card as per the illustration.
3. Fix the SIM card cover back in place, ensuring the screws are tightened to maintain waterproofing.

• SIM Status: No SIM Card*, SIM Card, LTE inactive*, Signal Strength and band*, Wi-Fi Signal Strength, Bluetooth trigger mode.
• Streaming: Video Streaming Enabled, but not active, Video Streaming Active.
• GPS Status: GPS enabled but no fix + Sat Count, GPS enabled with fix + Sat Count, GPS Streaming Enabled, but no fix, GPS Streaming Active with fix.

Battery Safety and Storage

Battery Safety

Reveal body cameras use Lithium Ion batteries. They are safety tested. Damage to a lithium-ion battery can cause excessive heat, smoke, or combustion. If the case is punctured or crushed, battery damage is possible. Users should perform a risk assessment. If the camera becomes excessively hot or emits unusual sounds/smoke: immediately detach, do not charge, and contact Reveal Support.

Storage

Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat, at temperatures between -20°C and 50°C (-4°F to 122°F). Lithium-ion batteries discharge over time; failure to charge may reduce performance. For long-term storage, charge to at least 50% every six months. Failure to follow storage instructions may invalidate the warranty.
