Driver Installation Procedure
The driver is signed by Microsoft and WHQL, allowing installation via Windows Update. If Windows Update fails, follow these manual installation steps.
Hardware Requirements:
- CIM315C
- PC with Windows 7 or above
Software Requirements:
- CIR315 Driver Package
Steps:
- Connect CIM315C to PC.
- On PC, open "Control Panel > System".
- Open "Device Manager".
- Select and open "Smart card readers".
- If "Microsoft Usbccid ... (WUDF)" is shown, continue to step 5. If "CIR315 CL" is shown, the driver installation is complete.
- Right-click and select "Update driver" (one by one).
- Select "Browse my computer for driver software...".
- Choose "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer".
- Select "Have Disk...".
- Browse to the driver location, select "CIR315.inf", and click "Open" and "OK".
- Select "CIR315 CL" and then "Next".
- Wait for the success screen and press "Close" to complete.
- Double-click to ensure the device changed to "CIR315 PICC" and "CIR315 SAM".
- Done.
Operation Example
Hardware Requirements:

Software Requirements:
- ☑ Any PCSC Application (e.g., APDU.exe)
Steps:
- Plug in the reader into the PC.
- Open "APDU.exe".
- Click "1. Select reader", choose "Circle CIR315 CL 0", then click "OK".
- Tag ISO14443 Test card on CIM315C.
- Select "T1", Message = "90 0a 00 00 01 00 00".
- Press "2. Connect".
- Press "3. Transmit".
- The result will be shown on the "Answer from the card:".
