First Time To Pair & Connect (Y and Home)
Pair & Connect: Press Y and Home Button Simultaneously.
- Find Controllers Option → Click Change Grip/Order.
- Press and hold the Y and HOME button simultaneously until the 4 LED lights flash in turn for 2 seconds. Release the button and wait for the connection to complete.
Note: Enter the Change Grip/Order page and complete the connection within 30 seconds. Staying on the page too long may prevent connection to the NS console.
Two players also supported: Press L + R on the controller.
Reconnect: Press Home Button. If the controller was previously paired, pressing the Home button will connect it rapidly. Ensure the NS console is turned on; this function does not support waking the console from standby mode.
Unable to connect? Follow these steps:
- Turn off airplane mode.
- On the NS console, go to System Setting → Controllers and Sensors → Disconnect Controllers, and delete this controller's information.
- Follow the first-time connection method to re-pair the controller.

Adjust Vibration Intensity
There are two levels of vibration intensity: Weak and Strong.
- Ensure the controller is connected to the NS console.
- Press L, ZL, R, and ZR buttons simultaneously.
- Release the buttons when you feel the vibration. Repeat to adjust vibration intensity.
Indicator Light
- Charging: 4 LED lights flash.
- Fully Charged: 4 LED lights are off.
Factory Motion Controls Calibration
- Ensure the controller is powered off and placed on a flat surface.
- Press the '-', 'B', and 'HOME' buttons simultaneously. Group A and Group B indicators will flash alternately.
- Press the '+' button; all 4 LED indicators will flash alternately.
- After approximately 15 seconds, all indicators will turn off, signifying the controller has finished calibrating.
Calibrate Control Sticks
If in-game characters drift automatically, calibrate the motion controls:
- Navigate to System Setting → Controllers and Sensors → Calibrate Control Sticks on your NS console.
- Follow the on-screen guide to complete the calibration.
