Product Structure Analysis

Installation Method
- Mounting to Light Stand: Rotate the locking knob clockwise to install and fix the light onto a light stand. Rotate counterclockwise to remove.
- Attaching Bowens Mount Reflector: Place the reflector in front of the light's Bowens mount and turn it slightly clockwise to secure.
- Removing Bowens Mount Reflector: Pull back the Bowens mount release slider while rotating the reflector counterclockwise.
- Attaching Power Adapter: Attach the power adapter onto the V-Mount Slot of the U-frame.
- Connecting Power: Connect the power cord to the DC input port to power the light.
- Connecting DMX: Connect to a DMX console using a DMX adapter cable (sold separately).
- Adjusting Angle: Loosen the angle fixing handle, adjust the spotlight's angle as needed, and then tighten the handle.
Description of Product Control Keys
The light features several control keys:
- 1. Power input: Connection point for the power supply.
- 2. ON/OFF Switch: Toggles the power state of the light.
- 3. LCD display screen: Shows current mode, parameter settings, brightness, color temperature, HUE, SAT, scene number, and channel value.
- 4. Compound knob:
- Long press for 2 seconds to switch between CCT/HSI light modes.
- Short press to select the parameter to be adjusted.
- Turn the knob to adjust the selected parameter's value.
- 5. Mode button: Switches between control modes: Rotate, Slave, Master, APP, DMX.
- 6. DMX Interface: Ports for DMX console input and output.
Function Introduction & Instructions for Use
LCD Display
The LCD screen displays:
- Brightness
- Control mode (e.g., Master, Slave, APP, DMX)
- Light mode (e.g., CCT, HSI)
- Light parameters (e.g., Color Temperature, HUE, Saturation, Time)
- Scene number (when applicable)
- Channel number
Parameters are displayed only when controlled by APP, DMX, or RF.
Mode Types and Functions
Press the Mode button to cycle through:
- Rotate mode: Adjusts light mode and parameters, but not channel value.
- Master mode: Controls brightness, color temperature, and channel synchronously for itself and any slaved lights set to the same channel.
- Slave mode: Channel number can be adjusted via the compound knob. Synchronous control is achieved when the slave's channel matches the master's.
- APP mode: Channel number adjustable via the compound knob; full control via the mobile APP.
- DMX mode: Settings controlled via a connected DMX console.
Adjusting Parameters
- Brightness (BRG): In Master/Rotate mode, short press the TAB button (or rotate knob) to select brightness and adjust with the knob. In APP mode, use the mobile app. In DMX mode, use the DMX console.
- Color Temperature (CCT): In Master/Rotate mode, long press TAB for 2 seconds to switch to CCT mode, short press TAB to select color temperature, then adjust with the knob. In APP mode, use the mobile app. In DMX mode, use the DMX console.
- HUE: In Master/Rotate mode, long press TAB for 2 seconds to switch to HSI mode, short press TAB to select HUE, then adjust with the knob. In APP mode, use the mobile app. In DMX mode, use the DMX console.
- Saturation (SAT): In Master/Rotate mode, long press TAB for 2 seconds to switch to HSI mode, short press TAB to select SAT, then adjust with the knob. In APP mode, use the mobile app. In DMX mode, use the DMX console.
- Channel (CH): In Slave, APP, or DMX mode, adjust the channel using the compound knob. In APP mode, also adjustable via the mobile app.
- Scene (SC): Accessible via APP, DMX, or RF. Features 8 scenes: Lightning, Cop Car, Candle, TV, Bad Bulb, Party, Disco, Paparazzi. In Slave mode, sync scenes with an RF remote (sold separately) by matching channels. In APP mode, use the mobile app. In DMX mode, use the DMX console.
APP Control
To control the light via the GVM LED APP:
- Switch the video light to APP mode.
- Open the GVM LED APP (download via QR code on manual). Register/login.
- Enter the Bluetooth search interface. Find and connect to "BT_LED".
- Upon successful connection, the APP control interface will appear, allowing control of the light and any slaves on the same channel.
- Note: Do not pair via the phone's system Bluetooth settings; connect directly through the APP.
Master & Slave Control Mode
To control multiple lights synchronously:
- Set one light to Master mode.
- Set other lights to Slave mode and ensure they are on the same channel (CH) as the master.
- The master light will then synchronously control brightness and color temperature. The APP can also connect to the master to control slaves.
DMX Control
Connect the DMX console to the video light using a DMX cable. Set both the light and the console to the same channel to enable control via the DMX console.
APP Control Details
The GVM LED APP provides comprehensive control:
- Download the APP by scanning the QR code provided in the manual.
- Ensure the light is in APP mode and the phone's Bluetooth and necessary permissions (like GPS for Android) are enabled.
- Open the "GVM LED" application. Navigate to the Bluetooth search interface (Figure 1), locate "BT_LED", and connect.
- Once connected, the APP control interface (Figures 2, 3, 4) becomes active, allowing full control of the connected light and any slave units on the same channel.
- Note: Avoid pairing via the phone's system Bluetooth settings; always use the APP for connection.
- Custom Scenes: Save up to 6 custom light effects in "My Scenes". After setting parameters, tap the save icon [save-icon] in the top right corner, confirm "Save Current Scenes" by clicking "OK". These saved effects will be available in "My Scenes". (Figure 5)

Use and Preservation
- Avoid placing the product in high humidity, strong electromagnetic fields, direct sunlight, or high-temperature environments.
- Disconnect power if the product will not be used for an extended period.
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a damp cloth, avoiding detergents or soluble liquids that could damage the surface.
- Power: Ensure the power supply is within the specified range.
- Repairing: Do not attempt to unpack the shell if a fault occurs; contact GVM for service to avoid damage and loss of warranty.
- Accessories: Use only manufacturer-provided or approved accessories for optimal performance.
- Warranty: Modifying the product voids the warranty.
