Follow these instructions carefully to assemble your Atlantic Furniture Madison Traditional Bed with Matching Footboard.

Assembly Overview

Note: Spare hardware is included in case damage occurs during assembly.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Attach Legs to Headboard

Attach the legs (2 and 3) to the headboard panel (1), using JCB (A) and barrel nut (B). Tighten with the Allen wrench (C).

Congratulations! Your headboard is now assembled.

To ensure lasting safety, periodically check that all screws are tight and all parts are secure.

Step 2: Attach Side Rails

Attach the side rails (04) to the headboard (02) and footboard (03) using the bed hook as shown below.

Diagram illustrates attaching side rails to the headboard and footboard. It shows two options for pin placement: 'UPPER' for use with mattress only, storage drawers, or a trundle bed, and 'LOWER' for use with a foundation and mattress.

Step 3: Add Slat Kit or Foundation

Lastly, lay the slat kit or foundation support board onto the bed. For assembly, follow the assembly instructions included with the support system.

Two bed configurations are shown: a 'PLATFORM BED - TALL HEIGHT' with storage drawers, and a 'TRADITIONAL BED - LOW HEIGHT'. Both indicate 'Adult assembly' is required.

Final Check and Maintenance

Periodically check that all screws are tight and all parts are secure to ensure lasting safety.
