Controller Overview
The AirHeater controller features a digital display and four primary control buttons:
- UP Key: Used to increase values or navigate upwards.
- Setup Key: Used to change modes, enter settings, or confirm selections.
- ON/OFF Key: Used to turn the heater on or off.
- DOWN Key: Used to decrease values or navigate downwards.
The display typically shows the current operating status, such as temperature or power level (e.g., "26.00%").
Run Mode Declaration
The AirHeater offers two operating modes:
- Manual Mode: Allows manual adjustment of output power across 10 levels (Level 1 to 10).
- Automatic Constant Temperature Mode: The heater automatically adjusts output power based on the difference between the set temperature and the room temperature. In this mode, the setting temperature is adjustable between 8 °C (46.4°F) and 36 °C (96.8°F).
Operating Instructions
- Turn ON/OFF the Heater: Click the ON/OFF Key.
- Change the Run Mode: Click the Setup Key to cycle between Manual Mode and Automatic Mode.
- Adjust Output Power or Setting Temperature: In Manual Mode, use the UP and DOWN Keys to adjust output power. In Automatic Mode, use the UP and DOWN Keys to adjust the setting temperature.
- Remote Controller Authorization:
- When the controller is ON, press and hold the UP Key for more than 3 seconds until "rte" is displayed.
- Release the UP Key.
- Press any key on the remote controller.
- Authorization is successful when the controller automatically turns OFF. Repeat if unsuccessful.
- Clear Matched Remote Controls:
- Unplug the controller.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF Key.
- While holding ON/OFF, plug the controller back in.
- Continue holding until "CLr" is displayed, then release.
- Wait approximately 3 seconds for "SUC" to display, indicating success.
- Bluetooth Password Setup:
- Open the AirheaterBLE app and navigate to the setup dialog's password option.
- Set a new password and save the changes.
- Turn on the controller.
- Simultaneously press and hold the UP and DOWN Keys for more than 3 seconds until "En00" is displayed.
- Press the UP Key to select "En10". The display will show "bLE" in the center and the 4-digit password (default: 1234) in the top right corner.
- Press and hold the SETUP Key for more than 3 seconds until the password starts blinking.
- "SUC" indicates the new password setup is successful.
- Time Setting:
- When the controller is ON, press and hold the SETUP Key for more than 3 seconds until "F0" is displayed in the top left corner and the time in the top right corner.
- Use the UP or DOWN Key to cycle through display options: F0, F1, F2, F3.
- F0: Local Time (e.g., 12:18)
- F1: Appointment Time (e.g., 07:00)
- F2: Running Time (e.g., 05:00)
- F3: Timer Switch (t-oF disables the timer, t-on enables it).
- To edit a setting (e.g., running time or timer switch):
- In an Fx option, click the SETUP Key to enter edit mode.
- Click the SETUP Key again to select the value to set.
- Click the ON/OFF Key to exit edit mode. The display will blink the set data.
- The running time set range is 0.5 to 10 hours, with a step of 0.5 hours.
- Get Bluetooth ID:
- When the controller is ON, press and hold the SETUP Key and ON/OFF Key simultaneously for more than 3 seconds until "BLE" is displayed in the center, showing the ID number above it.
- Select Language:
- When the controller is ON, press and hold the SETUP Key and DOWN Key simultaneously for more than 3 seconds.
- This will cycle through speaker language options: Mute (u-OF), English (u-En), German (u-Ge), or Russian (u-Ru).
- Change °C and °F:
- When the controller is ON, press and hold the SETUP Key for more than 3 seconds until "F0" is displayed in the top left corner and the time in the top right corner.
- Press the UP Key to show F5.
- Press the SETUP Key to enter setup mode.
- Use the UP Key or DOWN Key to toggle between °C and °F.
- Execute Pumping Fuel Programme Independently:
- Ensure the controller is in OFF status.
- During the first power-on, press and hold the DOWN Key for more than 7 seconds until the display shows "300".
- Release the DOWN Key. The pump will start pumping fuel, and the display will show the remaining time in seconds.
- The programme finishes when the remaining time reaches "0".
- Press the ON/OFF Key to halt the programme at any time.
- Caution: Avoid pumping excessive fuel into the heater during this programme.
Fault Code Table
If the heater encounters a fault, a corresponding indicator will blink on the display, and a fault code will be shown. Refer to the table below for causes and solutions:
Error Code | Fault Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
E01 | Supply Voltage Overrun | Check the battery output voltage. It should be between 9V and 16V for a 12V heater, and between 18V and 30V for a 24V heater. |
E03 | Ignition unit fault | Check if the ignition plugin is disconnected. If not, replace it with a new one. |
E04 | Pulse pump fault | Check if the pump plugin is disconnected. If not, replace it with a new one. |
E05 | Overheating | Check if the air inlet and outlet are blocked. |
E06 | Fan fault | Check if the fan plugin is disconnected. If not, replace it with a new one. |
E08 | Lack of fuel | Check if the fuel tank is empty and add fuel. |
E09 | Overheat sensor fault | Check if the sensor plugin is disconnected. If not, replace it with a new one. |
E10 | Startup failure | Check if the fuel tank is empty and add fuel, or check if the fuel pipe is blocked. |
