General Safety Precautions:
- Exposing eyes to laser radiation can cause severe and permanent eye injuries. NEVER look directly into the laser beam.
- Do not use the instrument if it appears damaged.
- Do not modify the instrument, as this could result in hazardous laser radiation emission.
- Do not use optical equipment (lenses, prisms, scopes) to view the laser beam.
- This product should only be used by trained operators who have read and understood the instructions.
- Avoid use in locations where accidental exposure to the laser beam is possible.
- Power off the instrument after use to minimize risks of inadvertent exposure.
- Do not remove warning labels.
- Securely locate the instrument in a tidy work environment to prevent damage from drops or movement.
- The instrument is IP54 dust & water resistant. Dry with a lint-free cloth if contacted with water.
- There are no user-serviceable parts inside the instrument.

Operating Instructions
Turning Laser Beams ON/OFF
Press the ON/OFF buttons (1, 2, 3) for the horizontal line, vertical line, and plumb spot respectively. These buttons are only active when the Pendulum Lock/Unlock Switch (6) is in the unlocked position. If the switch (6) is moved to the locked position while lasers are active, they will turn OFF. Laser lines can be operated independently or simultaneously.
Image Description: Visuals show the instrument projecting a horizontal laser line, a vertical laser line, and a plumb laser line.
Note on Plumb Spot: The plumb spot projects beams both upward and downward. The downward beam can locate a point on the floor, while the upward beam projects to the ceiling.
Pendulum Slider Switch & Self-Leveling
The laser assemblies are mounted on a pendulum for automatic self-leveling. The Pendulum Slider Switch (6) must be in the unlocked position for self-leveling. If the instrument is tilted more than 4° from the horizontal plane, it will not self-level. The active laser beams will flash, and the Excessive Tilt Indicator (5) will blink to signal that the instrument is not level. Reposition the instrument on a more level surface for proper self-leveling function.
Note: If the instrument indicates it is not level (flashing beams or blinking indicator 5), do not use it for layout work.
Note: After use, turn OFF the laser beams and place the Pendulum Slider Switch (6) in the locked position before storage.
Mounting Options
Magnetic Mounting Bracket (14)
The instrument attaches to a magnetic mounting bracket. This bracket can be magnetically attached to steel structures like studs, ducts, beams, and doors. It also features a keyhole for mounting with a screw or nail onto non-magnetic structures. Once mounted, the instrument can be rotated 360° on the bracket to direct the laser beams.
Image Description: Shows the bracket attached via magnet to a metal surface and via keyhole to a wall.
Clamp-On Wall Adapter (16)
This adapter can be clamped to a structural beam or a wall bracket for suspended ceilings, providing a steel surface for the magnetic mounting bracket. Once magnetically attached, the instrument can be positioned to project the laser line. The adapter also has a keyhole for screw or nail mounting.
Image Description: Shows the adapter mounted on a ceiling bracket and attached via keyhole to a wall.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement
When the Low Battery Indicator (4) illuminates red, batteries must be replaced.
- Open the battery compartment door (11).
- Remove and recycle three spent AA batteries.
- Install new batteries, noting correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
Image Description: Shows three AA batteries being inserted into the battery compartment, illustrating correct polarity (+/-).
Cleaning
Ensure the meter is turned OFF. Wipe with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Storage
Remove batteries if the instrument will not be used for an extended period. Do not expose to high temperatures or humidity. After storage in extreme conditions, allow the instrument to return to normal operating conditions before use.
