  1. For battery replacement, the remote requires one coin-style 3V CR2032 battery. Always use the correct size and grade of battery for this product.
  2. To replace the battery, open the battery door on the back side of the remote control. You will need to loosen the small screw on the door using a #1 Phillips screwdriver. If necessary, clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Remove any plastic protection from the battery and place it in the remote with the '+' side facing out. Ensure the battery is installed correctly with regard to polarity. Replace the battery door and screw.

Remove batteries from the remote control when not in use for an extended period of time. Always remove dead batteries immediately and replace with fresh ones. Do not store dead batteries in the remote.

Cleaning & Storage

Your fan will need regular cleaning. The fan has no user-serviceable parts inside and cannot be opened for cleaning. Never clean the product in any manner other than instructed in this owner's guide.

  1. Power off and unplug the unit prior to cleaning.
  2. Dust or wipe the fan with a damp cloth.
  3. Use the brush attachment on your household vacuum cleaner to vacuum any accumulated dust.

The motor is permanently lubricated and requires no oiling.

During the off-season or after extended periods of non-use, you may choose to store your fan. To ensure long life of the product, it is recommended to store your fan by following these instructions:

  1. Unplug the power cord and bundle it loosely.
  2. Cover the fan, or place it back in its retail carton if available. This prevents the fan from accumulating dust over time.
  3. Store the fan in a cool and dry location.
