Office for Mac Home Use Program Download Guide
Before you Download...
- Office for Mac 2011 installation requires Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) or later.
- Internet access is required to activate your Office for Mac product.
- You can review the Office for Mac minimum system requirements in the FAQ on the HUP website.
- If you need to re-download your product visit the My Account section on the HUP website.
- You can activate Office for Mac 2011 on two different Mac devices.

Download Experience
The Office for Mac installer will begin the installation.

Set up Steps
Step 1. Select 'Continue' to begin the guided setup.
Step 2. The Software License Agreement appears. Select 'Continue' then click 'Agree' to proceed.
Step 3. Select 'Install.'

Set up Steps
If Safari browser is open, you will need to close it to continue with the installation.
You may be asked to provide your username and password to confirm that you have permission to install software on your machine.

Complete the Installation
When the installation is complete, the last step is to activate your software.
- Open any of the Office components from the dock.
- On the first screen of the Microsoft setup assistant, enter your Product Key.
- Enter your Product Key and complete the installation instructions. You can find your Product Key in your Receipt Email.
- If online activation is unsuccessful, try telephone activation.

Microsoft Lync (Optional)
Lync is an optional addition to the HUP Office for Mac suite.
Lync lets you connect with others through instant messaging (IM), video calls, and online meetings. Connecting with Lync requires a connection to a Lync server; consult with your organization's IT administrator for more information.
You can install Lync from your order summary or from the hyperlink included in your receipt email.
