Software Interface and Operation
The mixer can be controlled via a web browser interface accessible through wired or wireless network connections.
Networked Control
Wired Connection:
- Connect the DM digital mixer to a computer via a network cable.
- Configure the computer's network settings: Set IPv4 address to 10.10.1.x (where x is 2-255) and the default gateway to 10.10.1.1.
- Open a web browser on the computer and enter 10.10.1.1 in the address bar to access the control interface.
Wireless Connection:
- Install a USB wireless network card for the DM digital mixer.
- On mobile phones, tablets, or laptops, enable wireless network connection and search for the mixer's Wi-Fi signal (e.g., 'soundking-DM8'). Connect to this network.
- Open a web browser on the connected device and enter the mixer's IP address (e.g., 10.10.2.1) to access the control interface.
Multiple Clients: Multiple devices can connect simultaneously via wired or wireless methods to control the mixer.
Software Tabs and Functions:
- General: Access system settings, including language selection, firmware updates, and factory reset options.
- Network: Configure network settings, including Wi-Fi setup (SSID, password) and LAN configuration (IP address, netmask, gateway).
- Log: View system log information, which records the last 10 boot sequences. Log data can be copied to a USB flash drive.
- DCA (Digitally Controlled Amplifier): Configure DCA groups for controlling multiple channels simultaneously. Up to 4 groups can be created.
- Mute Group: Set up mute groups to mute multiple channels at once. Default configuration often includes a 'mute all' setting.
