Installation Instructions

1. Installing the Beverage Refrigerator

Step 1: Preparing Before First Use

  1. Remove all packaging material, including foam base and adhesive tape holding accessories.
  2. Check that all accessories are included. Contact customer service at support@euhomy.com or 1-833-632-0897(US) if anything is missing.

Step 2: Choosing a suitable position

  1. The appliance is designed for both built-in and free-standing installation. Ensure a 5cm (2 inches) gap around the top, bottom, and all sides for the air outlet at the front.
  2. Keep away from high-heat sources like ovens and grills.
  3. Install in a location away from wind, rain, water spray, and dripping water.
  4. Level the unit for proper operation; adjustments may be needed.
  5. Place in a well-ventilated area with ambient temperature between 10°C (50°F)–32°C (90°F) and humidity under 60%.

Diagram shows recommended clearance dimensions for built-in installation: minimum 928mm height, 626mm width, 697mm depth, with 575mm cabinet width and 595mm cabinet depth, and 877mm unit height.

Step 3: Allowing the unit to settle

Before plugging in, let the beverage refrigerator stand upright for at least 24 hours to allow the refrigerant to settle.

Step 4: Cleaning the beverage refrigerator

Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth before plugging in.

2. Installing Stainless Steel Handle

Step 1: Pull away the door gasket in the area where the handle is to be installed.

Step 2: Align the handle with the pre-installed screws on the door frame. Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screws until the handle is firmly secured.

Step 3: Return the door gasket to its original position.

Note: The gasket can be removed by hand; no tools are necessary. DO NOT over-tighten screws. If not using the handle, remove pre-installed screws and insert decorative plugs into the holes.

Diagrams 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 illustrate pulling the gasket and aligning the handle with screws. Callouts identify: 1. Sealing (gasket), 2. Screws, 3. Phillips screwdriver, 4. Handle.

3. Installing the Shelves

Align each shelf with the stopper position and push it fully into the unit. Ensure it is securely seated before placing bottles.

To remove shelves: Pull each shelf out to the shelf post, lift it up, and then slowly pull the shelf out.

Diagrams 3.3.1 and 3.3.2 show how to align and insert shelves, and how to remove them by pulling and lifting.

4. Reversing the Door

The beverage refrigerator is shipped with the door hinge brackets on the right side. The door can be reversed to open from the left side.

Step 1: Unplug the Power Cord

Ensure the unit is unplugged before starting door reversal.

Step 2: Remove Plugs

Use a sharp implement to lever out the three plugs on the door frame (top and bottom) and one on the door. If plugs are broken, disregard them; holes for hinges are pre-drilled.

Diagrams fig3.4.1 and fig3.4.2 show the location of plugs on the door frame.

Note: Follow instructions in Steps 3–5 and refer to illustrations for correct reverse installation.

Step 3: Take Off the Door

  1. Lay the beverage cabinet flat or tilted with the door facing upward.
  2. Use a hexagonal screwdriver to remove the two screws connecting the door (be careful not to lose anti-slip washers).
  3. Lift slightly to extract the connecting piece between the door and hinges.
  4. Note: Preserve the connecting piece for subsequent steps.

  5. Tilt the door slightly to detach it.

Diagrams fig 3.4.3, fig 3.4.4, and fig 3.4.5 illustrate removing screws and detaching the door. fig 3.4.6 shows tilting the door. fig 3.4.7 shows the connecting piece. fig 3.4.8 shows the control panel with temperature adjustment.

Step 4: Install the Door on the Opposite Side

  1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to disassemble hinge brackets from the machine (save screws).
  2. Attach the left hinge brackets (from accessories) to the door frame on the opposite side.
  3. Transfer the connecting piece to the underside of the door on the opposite side.
  4. Incline the door and insert it onto the upper hinge bracket.
  5. Move the lower part of the door into the lower hinge bracket pin.
  6. Secure the two hex screws for the lower hinge bracket, keeping the anti-slip washers.

Step 5: Insert the plugs removed in Step 2 into the holes on the side from which the door was removed.

Step 6: Settle Down the Refrigerant

Wait at least 24 hours before plugging in the refrigerator to allow the refrigerant to settle. Then, plug in the unit.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Caution: Unplug the beverage refrigerator before cleaning or performing maintenance. Never use harsh cleansers or scouring pads.

Cleaning the machine

  1. Turn off the power, unplug the refrigerator, and remove all drinks and shelves.
  2. Remove and wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution.
  3. Wash interior surfaces with a solution of warm water and baking soda (approx. 2 tablespoons baking soda per quart of water).
  4. Wring excess water from sponges/cloths when cleaning near controls or electrical parts.
  5. Maintain gasket cleanliness and suppleness for an effective seal. Clean door gaskets every three months. Apply a light application of petroleum jelly on the hinge side of gaskets to preserve suppleness.
  6. Re-insert shelves and dry the unit thoroughly.

Defrosting the machine

  1. Turn off the machine using the button, stop the compressor, and unplug the power cord to melt frost.
  2. Allow frost to melt naturally, ensuring the internal drain is not blocked.
  3. Melted frost flows through the internal drain pipe into the water collection tray, where the compressor's heat evaporates it.
  4. Clean the interior with warm water and a soft cloth, wipe dry, reset the temperature, and cool for 3-4 hours.
  5. Put drinks back into the refrigerator.

Note: Never use mechanical devices or methods not recommended by the manufacturer to accelerate defrosting. If the drip tray is overfilled, it needs manual cleaning.

Power Interruptions

Most power failures are short-lived and should not affect the temperature. For extended outages, take proper steps to protect contents.

Saving energy tips

  1. Locate the refrigerator in the coolest area of the room.
  2. Ensure adequate ventilation; never cover air vents.
  3. Open the door only as long as necessary to maintain internal temperature.
