General Safety Precautions
- Do not immerse the multi-cooker or its plug in water or any other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
- Always unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool before inserting or removing accessories.
- Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged, malfunctioning, or if its cord or plug is damaged. Contact customer support (see page 17).
- Do not use third-party spare parts or accessories, as this may cause injury.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Do not use the appliance near gas or electric stoves, or near heated ovens or open flames.
- Exercise extreme caution when moving the appliance if it contains hot oil or food. Improper use, including moving the appliance during operation, can cause injury.
- Do not clean the appliance with metal scouring pads. Small fragments from the pad can come into contact with electrical elements, creating a risk of electric shock.
- Do not place anything on top of the appliance or store anything inside it.
- Do not tap the top of the air fryer with hard objects, as this may cause the tempered glass to crack. Tempered glass is stronger and breaks more safely than ordinary glass, but it may unexpectedly shatter after cracking. If you see a crack, contact customer support (see page 17).
- Use the appliance strictly in accordance with the instructions in this user manual.
- The appliance is intended for household use only.
Air Frying Function Safety Precautions
- The multi-cooker operates with hot air only. Never fill the baskets with oil or fat.
- Never use your multi-cooker without the baskets installed.
- Do not place excessively large food items or metal cookware in the appliance.
- Never place paper, cardboard, non-heat-resistant plastic, or similar materials in the appliance. Only parchment paper or foil may be used.
- Never place baking paper or parchment paper in the appliance without food. Air circulation may cause the paper to lift and touch the heating elements.
- Always use heat-resistant containers. Be very careful when using non-metal and non-glass containers.
- The appliance is designed for use on a flat, level, stable, and heat-resistant surface. When placing the appliance, ensure the surface is level, clean, and dry.
- Immediately turn off and unplug the appliance if you notice dark smoke. White smoke is normal, caused by heating fat or food splatters. Dark smoke indicates burning food or an electrical problem. Wait for the smoke to dissipate before removing the baskets. If the smoke is not caused by burnt food, contact customer support (page 17).
- Do not leave your appliance unattended while in use.
Safe Use of Electrical Appliances
- Do not let the power cord (or any extension cord) hang over the edge of a table or counter and do not let it touch hot surfaces.
- Remove and discard the protective cover on the air fryer's plug to prevent choking hazards.
- Never use an outlet under a counter when plugging in your air fryer.
- Keep the air fryer and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years old.
Electromagnetic Fields (EMF)
The COSORI Air Fryer complies with all standards regarding electromagnetic fields (EMF). According to current scientific data, if the appliance is used properly and in accordance with the instructions in this user manual, it is safe to use.

Accessories
Silicone Stoppers (Plugs)
- The crisper plate is designed with 4 rubber stoppers made of FDA-approved safe material. These stoppers hold the crisper plate at the bottom of the basket, preventing direct contact between the plate and the basket, and in rare cases, damage to the basket's non-stick coating.
- Remove the rubber stoppers only for cleaning. To remove the stoppers more easily, start from the bottom of the plate and pull out one side of the stopper first, then the other. [Figure 1.2]
- To install the rubber stoppers onto the plate, moisten them with water first. Then, push each stopper back through the bottom of the plate.

Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Solution |
---|---|
Multi-cooker does not turn on | Ensure the multi-cooker is plugged into the power outlet. Ensure the baskets are securely inserted into the appliance. |
Food is not fully cooked. | Cook smaller batches of food in the basket. If the basket is overfilled, the food will not be cooked thoroughly. Food items that are tightly packed in the basket should be shaken or turned during cooking (see Shaking Food, page 12). Spraying or lightly applying oil to the ingredients can increase their crispiness (See page 13). |
Food cooks unevenly. | See French Fries, page 12. Ensure the basket is not overfilled with food. |
Food does not get crispy after using Air Fry | Cooking fatty foods will cause fat to drip into the basket. This oil will produce white smoke, and the baskets may become hotter than usual. This is normal and should not affect cooking. Handle the baskets with care. |
French fries cook incorrectly. | See French Fries, page 12. |
The basket is not securely inserted into the appliance. | Ensure the basket is not overfilled with food. |
White smoke comes from the appliance. | The appliance may emit white smoke when you first use it. This is normal. Ensure the baskets and the inside of the appliance are properly cleaned and free of grease. |
Dark smoke comes from the appliance. | Immediately unplug the appliance. Dark smoke indicates burning food or a power circuit problem. Wait for the smoke to dissipate completely before removing the baskets from the appliance. If the smoke is not caused by burnt food, contact customer support. |
The appliance smells of plastic | Any appliance may have a plastic smell remaining from the manufacturing process. This is normal. To get rid of the plastic smell, follow the instructions for the test run (page 9). If the plastic smell persists, contact customer support. |
The display shows error code “E1”. | There is a break in the temperature sensor. Contact customer support (see page 17). |
The display shows error code “E2”. | Short circuit in the temperature sensor. Contact customer support (see page 17). |
The display shows error code “E3”. | Contact customer support (see page 17). |
If your problem is not listed, contact customer support (see page 17).
