Installation
- The push-button is supplied with a CR 2032 (3 V) button battery. Remove the insulation board if present.
- Place the doorbell unit into a standard grounded power outlet.
- Upon successful connection, the doorbell will emit a sound, indicating it is ready to be paired with the push-button.
- Pair the two units together.
Pairing Instructions
After powering the doorbell, it will emit a sound, signaling it is ready to receive the push-button's signal.
- Within 2 minutes, press the push-button once to create a new operating code. The doorbell sounding confirms the new code has been registered.
- To pair additional push-buttons, unplug the doorbell, then plug it back in. The doorbell is now ready to register a new code.
- Within 2 minutes, press the second push-button (sold separately) and the doorbell will learn its operating code.
- By repeating this process, up to 8 push-buttons can be paired to a single doorbell.
After a power outage, the doorbell will start with its learning function. This can be bypassed by pressing an already paired button.
Melody Selection
A single press of the push-button plays the melody once. Holding the button down will not repeat the melody.
To select a desired melody, press the button located on the side of the doorbell, above the volume slider. This selected melody will play with each ring.
Removing the button battery will reset the melody to the factory default setting, but the push-button does not need to be re-paired.
Cleaning
For optimal operation, clean the appliance periodically, at least once a month, depending on the level of contamination.
- Before cleaning, remove the doorbell from the power outlet.
- Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or liquids.
When reconnected to power, the doorbell automatically enters learning mode. This can be bypassed by pressing an already paired button.
