Once installed, test for proper function by following the brake control unit instruction manual. LOCATION GUIDE Representative vehicle shown below BH8 - Under dash, to right of emergency brake pedal BH8 E-brake Brake Gas PAGE 1 · RA · NEED ASSISTANCE? · 1.877.287.8634 · CURTMFG.COM INSTALLATION / SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Step 1 Locate the felt liner under the dash, to the left of the steering column. Remove the two plastic fasteners securing the liner (A). Behind the felt liner, locate the vehicle brake control harness connector. It will be attached to the top of a junction box (B). The connector will be similar to that on the CURT brake control harness. Step 2 Insert the connector on the CURT brake control harness into the vehicle connector. Make sure the connector is fully inserted with locking tabs in place. Step 3 Insert the brake control harness's black connector into the brake control's quick plug connector. Secure the brake control harness with the provided cable ties, avoiding any pinch points. Step 4 Complete the installation using the brake control instructions.
