The Korea Trade Commission's Decision on Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems

On August 28, 2025, the Korea Trade Commission issued their decision ruling that some models of Fuji Electric's Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems infringe on a Korean patent held by TMEIC Corporation. The decision orders a ban on imports into Korea.

Fuji Electric has already communicated with its customers and implemented measures to continue business transactions.

The company will carefully review this decision and consider its next actions, such as filing an appeal and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.

Should any circumstances arise in the future regarding the patent dispute with TMEIC Corporation that could significantly affect Fuji Electric's operations, appropriate disclosure will be provided in a timely manner.
