A new or replacement CORE controller will be shipped in a Pre-Install state. The startup technician will use the CORE Service App to set up the unit for operation.

Pair your device to the Lennox CORE Control System to perform the setup steps. Refer to the excerpt from the CORE Service App Reference Guide below for guidance. Complete instructions are included in the guide.

App Setup Steps

1. Once connected, the screen will display a reading of the CORE controller's information. Tap the Finish button to continue.
2. Congratulations! The unit and CORE Service App have been successfully paired. The next screen is the unit operation overview screen.
3. Tap the Menu button (three lines in the upper left of the screen) to open the menu.
4. Tap 'Install' from the menu.
5. Set the date and time. You can choose to use the mobile device's date and time.
